Crane Cams Blueprint® Series Camshafts The Sixties and Seventies…If you were there, you remember. And if you weren’t there, you wish you had been. Those were the days when muscle cars ruled the road—when 300 horsepower box-stock off the shelf was the low side of normal. Crane Cams's Blueprint® camshafts are today’s link with the performance paradise of the Sixties and Seventies. Each precision manufactured camshaft is a faithful reproduction of one of the original tire smoking grinds that powered the GTOs, Road Runners, S/S Chevelles and Ford GTs of days gone by. These hydraulic or mechanical flat tappet camshafts are authentic duplicates of original equipment musclecar cams. Their profiles have been computer smoothed for added performance and increased valve train life. They are an excellent choice for a true musclecar restoration.

Note: These Blueprint® Series Camshafts were originally designed for high compression ratio engines using high octane gasoline. They were also being used in cars with low-end gear ratios (3.50, 3.73, 4.10, 4.11) or 4-speed manual transmissions. You will need to consider this when building your engine, and make appropriate adjustments.
