Visionary Stan Lui developed this project as part of the “Advance in Seafood Leadership Development Program”. The aim of this project is to encourage Torres Strait communities to sustainably manage dugong and turtle populations so there will be enough for future generations.
Workshops Inception Strategies held workshops on Thursday Island where Indigenous community members developed a storyline for the comic.
