The half sovereign was introduced in 1544 by King Henry VIII. In 1817 a new version of the half sovereign was created. This included the Pistrucci St. George and Dragon design which is by far the most popular image used on all sovereigns.
Combining the coin striking expertise of the Royal Mint and the master jewellers found in England’s Historic jewellery Quarter in Birmingham. Both Sovereign and pendant have been crafted to the world’s finest standards. Two examples of British crafts combining to create beautiful jewellery.

All the pendants feature the King Charles III Coronation Commemorative hallmark. Based on a medal by Ian Rank-Broadley FRBS and using artwork supplied by Thomas Fattorini, the mark depicts the King's head against an oval background. Pendants are available with 18’’/45cm chains or the option of a 20’’/50cm. Jewellery is supplied in a Wooden Presentation Boxes.
