Netball Fours Netball Fours is an innovative new game designed by the City of Salisbury. Played in the goal third of a netball court with only four players on each team, it is a fast moving version of netball with modified rules. Anyone is welcome to enter a team and join in the fun on Friday 29 April at Para Hills Wanderers Netball Club. Adelaide Thunderbird Kate Shimmin will be there to MC the event with a DJ playing all night, a barbeque and canteen facilities available. There will be plenty of prizes and giveaways. ANZ Net Set Go! As part of the Netball Fours event in April, Adelaide Thunderbird’s Sam Poolman will be running a Net Set Go clinic for budding young netballers. Boys and girls aged five to eight years are welcome to participate. What is Net Set Go? ANZ Net Set Go is Netball Australia’s only junior entry netball program. It has been developed to provide children from five to 10 years with the best possible learning and playing experience to develop a positive introduction to netball, ensuring enjoyment and continued participation. ANZ Net Set Go incorporates skill activities, minor games, music, dance and modified matches in a fun and safe environment. The weekly program is coordinated by accredited coaches to ensure a quality experience for all participants.

Boys Netball is Coming to Salisbury If you are aged 16 years and under, a new boys netball competition is starting up right here in Salisbury. With the Support of the Southern Dragons (South Australia’s Men’s State Netball team) and Netball SA, we will be running a four week trial program at the end of Term 2 this year on Saturday afternoons at The Gardens Recreation Centre. AIA Vitality Mini Roos Designed for kids of all abilities aged four to 11 years, the nation-wide initiative uses short, game-based sessions to introduce the sport of football to newcomers in an inclusive way. It focuses on learning new skills, being active, making life-long friends and potentially unearthing the next generation of Socceroos or Matildas.

World Croquet Day It’s World Croquet Day and we would like you to celebrate with us at our free event! Croquet is a growing sport in South Australia because it is a lot of fun and can be very competitive as well. Local Club News Salisbury Inter Soccer Club The Salisbury Inter Soccer Club located at Underdown Park, Salisbury North is providing opportunities for young girls age Under 6, Under 9 and Under 11 to participate in their Mini Roos Junior program.
