ABOUT US

Nothing explains the human greed..

I wonder how, many others have agreed!

Using the earth's resources and causing it harm Losing out on beautiful nature's charm ...

But there are many of us, who care!

As we worry about the Earth's wear and tear; We plant a tree and watch it grow Create a forest and experience nature's glow..

It's time we protect water, soil and air.. For the consequences, we may not be able to bear.. We maintain temperature levels and fight climate change... This is our mother earth, which we cannot exchange...

We steer your wheels to preserve and restore, An ecosystem we shall protect, we swore! We realise the importance of living greens.. We are the people that believes in giving! We are Olgreens!

WHAT WE DO

ECOLOGICAL LANDSCAPING & FOREST DEVELOPMENT

It is a method of designing, building, and maintaining landscapes that considers the ecology of a site and creates greens-capes that enhance the surrounding environment for the benefit of humans and all other life in the ecosystem.

WHY WE DO

When the earth is disturbed during the construction of buildings, homes, driveways, and roadways, the land is forever altered. Although the natural landscape can never be restored completely, with thoughtful attention to the site, we create outdoor spaces that are practical, healthy, and aesthetically pleasing. Ecological landscaping & forest development strives to balance the building site with the natural environment.

OUR CORE

OBJECTIVES

• Reduce water consumption

• Preserve water quality

• Prevent soil erosion

• Protect biodiversity

• Diminish the use of toxic pesticides

• Minimise the use of non-renewable resources

WE STRIVE TO CREATE GREENS-CAPES THAT ARE BOTH ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE AND ENJOYABLE TO EXPERIENCE.

MIYAWAKI METHOD

The Miyawaki Method is one of the most effective tree planting methods for creating forest cover quickly on degraded land that has been used for other purposes such as agriculture or construction.

ADVANTAGES

• Trees in a Miyawaki forest grow up to ten times faster at around a metre per year, reaching a stable multi-layered forest community in 20 to 30 years instead of hundreds of years.

• The growing trees absorb more carbon in a Miyawaki forest than in a plantation or in standard afforestation projects because they grow more quickly and there are thirty times as many.

• The Miyawaki method has been successful where other planting projects have failed, such as in arid Mediterranean habitats, due to high survival rates.

• Native trees thrive in the conditions to which they are adapted and are more resilient to environmental changes.

• Miyawaki forests have been found to have far higher biodiversity than neighbouring woodland, on average 18 times higher.

PERMACULTURE METHOD

WHAT IS PERMACULTURE?

• Permaculture design is essentially a multi-faceted, integrated and ecologically harmonious method of designing human-centred landscapes.

• By human-centred what is meant is that an ideal permaculture design is able to supply many of the needs of a human family or community within it’s localised environment in as efficient and sustainable a manner as possible.

• Integrated design refers to the inter-connectivity of elements within a system. Basically we work to align the outputs from one element to the inputs of another such that there is no waste, high efficiency and work is ideally reduced.

• In all Permaculture design we also strive to work with natural principles, learning from nature and attempting to harmonise in a way such

• Permaculture as a subject is vast and spans many disciplines as an understanding of a myriad of areas is needed to grasp how a design is
