A NEW DECADE OF ULTIMATE PERFORMANCE “We are entering a new decade at full throttle!” The amazing Regeras are driving out of our factory at a pace of one every week and we are soon halfway through its entire production run. We have just presented the unbelievable Absolut version of the Jesko, as well as my long-time dream car and pet project – the world’s first Mega-GT – the four-seater Gemera.

The megacar that “gives more” Ever since Halldora and I had kids, I have been thinking about how to expand the megacar experience to more than just two persons at a time, without sacrificing the essence of what a megacar is.

Performance to the Absolut extreme The launch of the Jesko in 2019 was a remarkable success. This year we continue the Jesko story by launching the extreme-speed capable Jesko Absolut. The Absolut version of the Jesko will complement the more track-oriented launch version.

Already back in 2006, we made our first scale models, sketches and even a full-size seating buck of the Gemera. However, given the magnitude of the undertaking we were not ready to pull the trigger and move the project to production – until now. So exciting! This has meant that the concept, details, the technology and the design utilized really had a chance to fully mature. Allowing the Gemera to be truly amazing and one of a kind.

Both versions are truly masters in their own right. The launch version of the Jesko features extreme active downforce combined with active chassis, a super responsive race-like engine with lightning-fast gear shifts. All in all, features that make the launch version of the Jesko the ultimate track weapon. The Absolut version with its shockingly low drag coefficient of 0.278 Cd, combined with its high-speed stability optimized aero features, daily drive friendly characteristics and luggage space, make the Absolut a land-based rocket-ship determined to reach unheard-of speed.

The Gemera is in a category of its own. Apart from being a megacar, the Gemera also brings new, clever and environmentally conscious technologies to the market – primarily the Freevalve C02-neutral capable combustion technology along with next-generation 800V electric propulsion, in combination with the now proven Koenigsegg Direct Drive technology.

The Absolut is the fastest Koenigsegg ever made and we do not plan to make a faster car – ever... That is an Absolut statement! 7

Given the extreme nature of the Jesko – it is amazing that both versions will come with world-wide homologation for safety and emissions.

keep surprising them. We will see a lot more of the Regera in the years to come. The Regera still has much up its sleeve. Again it will stun the performance car world – I am sure.

As always, we don’t engineer our cars to just pass regulations – we engineer for ultimate safety and ultimate environmental consciousness.

The first 25 years were really exciting for Koenigsegg. 2020 – the 26th year of the company’s history, has more excitement in store. I cannot wait to share it in true Koenigsegg spirit with our customers, dealers, staff and fans.

World record After presenting the Regera, it quickly became a landmark in automotive history, due to its groundbreaking technology and performance. It really took the world by storm and slightly shocked the automotive community, as it is so different.

After 25 years of megacar development, one thing is sure - we have just gotten started! I hope you enjoy our 2020 magazine

The Regera has proven itself through customer satisfaction and by setting a 0-400-0 km/h world record in 2019.

All the best,

At the time of writing – of the total 80 limited edition cars – more than half are out on the roads. For me, it’s a true joy to hear customers describe the exhilarating driving experience and how they appreciate the many inventions of the Regera that

THE WORLD’S FIRST MEGA-GT AND KOENIGSEGG’S FIRST FOR FOUR The Koenigsegg Gemera made its world debut at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show. The Gemera is the world’s first Mega-GT and Koenigsegg’s first four-seater. Extreme megacar meets spacious interior and ultimate environmental consciousness.

EXTREME MEGACAR MEETS SPACIOUS AND PRACTICAL INTERIOR Ultimate performance has belonged to the world of two-seaters with very limited luggage space – until now.

To give more The Gemera seats four large adults comfortably with space catering to their carry-on luggage, meaning the Koenigsegg megacar experience can be shared with family and friends.

Ultimate performance Since the birth of the company more than 25 years ago, Koenigsegg has been driven to create the ultimate performance car.

The notion behind Gemera’s name – a combination of the two Swedish words – “ge” (give) and “mera” (more) signifies “to give more”. A suitable name for a car that adds features and functions without taking away anything that makes it a true megacar.

Despite being a four-seater, the Gemera easily outperforms most two-seat megacars, both combustion and electric. Still, the focus of the Gemera is taking on long-range public roads – family trips, in comfort, style and safety with never-before-experienced performance.

It is not often one can say a new category of car has been created. But in the case of the Gemera it has to be believed – the Mega-GT.

With its 1.27 megawatts of power and 3500 Nm of torque, the Gemera goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.9 seconds and to 400 km/h in under 20 seconds.

The Gemera is limited to an edition of 300 cars.

The Gemera comes with the most amazing sound from a 3-cylinder engine ever. The Tiny Friendly Giant The Gemera yields a combined power output of 1700 bhp or 1.27 MW. Power output from the three motors – one for each rear wheel producing 500 bhp and 1000 Nm, and one E-motor on the crankshaft that produces an extra 400 bhp and 500 Nm to power the front wheels – add up to 1400 bhp as individuals and 1100 bhp when combined. The Gemera’s 2-liter 3-cylinder dry sump twin turbo Freevalve engine, named the Tiny Friendly Giant (or TFG for short) adds another 450 kW or 600 bhp. 13
