Sanibel Island, Florida, which is located in the Gulf of Mexico just off the coast of Ft. Myers, Fl, holds a special place in my heart. It is my family’s prime vacation spot and we go there just about every year.

With more than half of the island being wildlife refuge, we always have a lot of interaction with all sorts of animals. People come from round the world to collect shells on the beaches of Sanibel and its neighboring island, Captiva. The island has always provided entertainment and enjoyment for my family.

From talking to the crazy parrots at Jerry’s Foods to watching dolphins at sunset, there is for sure never a dull moment with us. I will always cherish the memories I have with my family on Sanibel Island.
