She went with her family and they spent the whole last day in the shopping centre, buying some souvenirs. "We had had a very nice week, but we couldn't imagine that we were going to remember our last day in Cape Town forever." said Mahamba to our journalists. The last day for Mahamba started like an ordinary day, but in the evening, when Mahamba was shopping with her family, they heard some shooting. They felt very frightened and they tried to escape out of the shopping centre, but the terrorists who were responsible for the shooting, were blocking all the doors and exits. They needed to find a place to hide immediately, so they went inside a shop and hid there. Some policemen were dressed up as civilians and they helped the real civilians to escape from the shopping centre. And they shot into the air to frighten the terrorists in case they tried to get close to them. Finaly, Mahamba and his family managed to escape from the shopping centre together with the rest of people who were there.
