PANIC AT THE SHOPPING CENTRE! FIRE HERO

A fireman rescuing the child Yesterday, in the middle of the night an accident ocurred in the town of Vallecas.

A person walking down the street saw the fire and he immediately phoned the police. The police came in a few minutes with firefighters and they began to put out the fire. While they were putting out the fire, a firefighter heard a baby cry and very quickly he threw the door down and entered the house. The baby was alone, there wasn't anybody in the house. The firefighter was in the fire for ten minutes and he got out with the baby still alive.

The police have investigated and said the baby had been abandoned and their parents wanted to burn the house with her son inside. A few hours before the father had had an argument with his wife .

Parents are now in jail and the baby has been taken in by the family of the firefighter who saved him, now a HERO. Written by Marcos and Camila

Mahamba was sightseeing two weeks ago in Cape Town, because Caption Mahamba (in pink trousers) trying to escape from the shopping centreshe was on holiday. She went with her family and they spent the whole last day in the shopping centre, buying some souvenirs.

"We had had a very nice week, but we couldn't imagine that we were going to remember our last day in Cape Town forever." said Mahamba to our journalists.

The last day for Mahamba started like an ordinary day, but in the evening, when Mahamba was shopping with her family, they heard some shooting.

They felt very frightened and they tried to escape out of the shopping centre, but the terrorists who were responsible for the shooting, were blocking all the doors and exits. They needed to find a place to hide immediately, so they went inside a shop and hid there.

Some policemen were dressed up as civilians and they helped the real civilians to escape from the shopping centre. And they shot into the air to frighten the terrorists in case they tried to get close to them.

Finaly, Mahamba and his family managed to escape from the shopping centre together with the rest of people who were there.

helicopter arrived at the Emergency Service camp, everybody hugged their families. There were 20 injured people who were burnt. Afterwards, survivors were taken to hospital.

In the next few days after the tragic accident the number of missing people kept rising.

Nearby cities were very affected because of the striking eruption.

Now, we know the number of victims who died in the accident, 60 people.

HEADLINE BLIZZARD IN LONDON There was a very strong blizzard in London last weekend. It caused some damage in the buildings and some people died. As a result, there were some accidents in the roads and a lot of traffic jams.

People couldn’t go out because it was very windy. In the houses there wasn’t light.

Unfortunately, there were several casualties. For example, a woman whose husband died in a traffic accident caused by the blizzard. It was frightening. I was making dinner when the phone rang. The police said to me that my husband was dead. Suddenly, I started to cry”. Also, the woman said that in one hour there were twenty centimeters of snow.

Also, a family was traveling to a village near London when they got trapped in their car. After two hours the firemen rescued them.

Finally there were 123 injured people and 13 casualties.

It was the biggest blizzard in the history of London.

This was the dramatic scene that happened last week at a neighborhood in USA. Forty-two people were affected by this horrible accident, seven people died. There were also hundred missing people .

The storm began at 8 o’clock and it stopped at 12 o’clock. The water rose up to two metres. All the people were scared and they didn’t know what to do. People called the rescue services and as soon as they knew which houses were flooded they came and they started trying to help people.

The women in the photo were crying because they lost everything in their house, they said that it was the most terrifying experience in their lives. Finally today people are more relaxed but they are still nervous because it can happen again.

DISASTER IN IRELAND In 2012 something happened in a shopping centre in Ireland.

While people were shopping a terrorist group assaulted it and robbed the people that were inside. One of the terrorists took all the money while the others were threatening people in the shopping centre. After this theft, the shopping centre got abandoned, and the town hall didn't repair the shopping centre because the damage which the terrorist caused was so expensive and they preferred to leave it. The police arrested this group after two years of persecution around Ireland. This group was caught in a centre of Ireland.

EARTHQUAKE IN HAITI One year ago, on October 14th 2012, two tectonic plates collided in a village in Haiti. It caused a terrible earthquake. While people were doing their daily activities, the floor started to shake.

This natural disaster killed a thousand families and all the survivors were deeply affected, because they lost some relatives. All the houses were destroyed and they had to live in the street.

TRAIN ACCIDENT Yesterday there was a train accident in Los Angeles, California. The train derailed when it was leaving Palmer Spreen station.

The train derailed because a meteorite divided the train in two halves. The accident caused a lot of casualties. At the moment the FBI found-sixty four bodies, but they found fourteen survivors too.
