SHARING GOD’S LOVE

In His Great Commission (Matthew 28:1820), Jesus commands all Christians to share the faith with all the world. To be Christian means more than receiving salvation; it means to live a transformed life, and by example, word, and deed to make disciples. Pope Francis wrote, “Each Christian and every community must discern the path that the Lord points out, but all of us are asked to obey his call to go forth from our own comfort zone in order to reach all the ‘peripheries’ in need of the light of the Gospel” (EG 20 1).

The message of the gospel is simple: believe in Christ and love others. We are called to be the light of Jesus in the world. By loving others through service, we are helping to open the hearts of others to receive God’s salvation. American Heritage Girls is helping thousands of girls grow in this mission daily. The AHG Oath reminds us to love God and to serve others each time it is recited.

Service to others without reward does not come naturally without God’s help. To prepare the next generation of believers, we must ensure that our kids are extremely firm in their beliefs. The National Board of Trustees is committed to maintaining an AHG Program that helps girls form a Biblical Worldview, coming alongside parents and the local church. Having a Biblical Worldview
