The Ames Public Library Bookmobile has a new stop, and it’s on the Iowa State University campus — the turnaround spot between Parks Library and Morrill Hall. Starting Jan. 12, plan to stop by between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. every Thursday. Come early and often to

see what’s new. Check out, return and request items in advance. Surprises are in store, and a special guest or two may be on hand, so mark Jan. 12 on the calendar. The Ames and ISU libraries have a longstanding collaborative relationship. The presence of the Bookmobile each week presents members of the campus and community with another means to engage the library. “This exciting

partnership with Ames Public Library and the Bookmobile expands the reach of both our libraries,” said Dean of ISU Library Services Beth McNeil. “Faculty and staff not able to leave campus during the day can make their way to the Bookmobile (and Parks Library) on Thursdays to utilize materials — and be two places at once.” Community members are welcome to stop by, as well. Parking is available at the Memorial Union.
