Jim Magnuson, general manager articulated many of the good things in 2015, but also mentioned the

cost of the basis movement in the grain futures. After the board of directors meeting, students engaged in discussions with KEY managers and employees regarding career opportunities. Courtney Davis, now a freshman at Iowa State, was in attendance and has an internship with the cooperative this summer at the LeGrand location. Nevada FFA has been moving additional pianos again lately, with the spirit of “make their day!” “The students are getting very efficient in the process of moving these pianos,” said Kevin Cooper, Nevada FFA advisor. Recently, a piano in Story City had to be moved across town, and a FFA tractor project radiator needed to be delivered for repair at Story City Radiator Repair, so one trip was made. Upon delivering the piano to Tom Dooley’s furniture restoration business, the students were provided with a tour and explanation of the rare furniture antiquities that he has restored. Also, another piano origin was from a farm northeast of Randall to West Ames, and got delivered in time for the holiday. “Our students impress me with how they act with maturity and courtesy when entering homes, and acting professionally!” Cooper said. Both piano transfers provided generous financial donations.
