LOCATION | Atlanta, Georgia PHASES OF DESIGN | Conceptual Design Master Planning & Programming TEAM & DURATION | 4 People & 3 Weeks PROJECT DESCRIPTION | Amazon HQ 2 is located right off Buford Highway positioning itself parallel to Interstate 85 and future Marta Lightrail Lines. Having views of Downtown and Buckhead, this is a prime location for a future 50,000 employee increase. Everything from Whole foods, conference center, theater, office space, parks/trails and air pod connector are all located on the Amazon fabric.

It will be equipped to support a wide variety of performance types including Broadway as well as The Greensboro Symphony Orchestra. The theatre will house a state of the art sound system and will have a 70’ wide x 32’ high proscenium.

The IEC development is part of a bigger master plan with Gwinnett County and other development groups in hopes to better the walkabilty and connectivity of pedestrian traffic. Transit Oriented Development and trail connections are the infrastructure behind this project .

This facility houses offices and lab space to test various metal materials to then be produced in the warehouse.

This is a international competition questioning humanities future life and habitation. Will we still have high rises in the future? What will they be used for? How will they perform? The future of humanity relies on self-replication to survive. This high rise is a factory of self replicating materials to construct buildings/cities on a natural pattern. Materials are made throughout the high rise working its way to the pod chamber to get launched to the site in which it gets constructed,



8| VILLA AVALON [MICRO-HOUSE]

LOCATION | Lake Hartwell, GA PROJECT BUDGET | $ 25,000 PHASES OF DESIGN | Conceptual Design to Construction Administration TEAM & DURATION | 4 People & 1.5 Years PROJECT DESCRIPTION | Villa Avalon is nestled in the lush scenery of Lake Hartwell. This space houses a loft space private bedroom, cooking space & living space located in front of the window wall equaling 400sq.ft. This micro-house is 10’ in width, 20’ in length & 20’ in height. The build required the design team of 4 to stay on site for several days at a time to complete this job. With minimal tools and rigging the project was complete in 1.5 years.
