This project aims to ameliorate living conditions for both humans and nonhumans, by stitching through the rich urban environment that already exists, and thus promoting positive relationships between the two.
Create design proposals for various projects, such as housing and university buildings. Such as are IIBF event hall and library in Malaysia (design proposal stage). Landed residential housing in Rantau, Negeri Sembilan. Aim at site planning, macro & and micro infrastructure, and designing the plan and units. High-rise residential unit. Putra Tower, University Putra Malaysia. Aim at site study of the different typologies of the housing unit in creating more natural ventilation. Also studies the calculation in providing gross area, for the communal and co-living spaces. Most of the project involvement is in the beginning stage and acts as a design proposal for the team.
This project aims to combat bat from becoming extinction by converting an abandoned mill in a co-livinh housing for humans and bats ecosystem.

Year 6
This project aims to ameliorate living conditions for both humans and nonhumans, by stitching through the rich urban environment that already exists, and thus promoting positive relationships between the two.
Non-humans are provided with refuge and foraging opportunities, in return for their natural pollination of crops, which in turn increases food security for all species.
Simultaneously, a food hub will be proposed, which grows its own produce to manufacture into canned goods, which are then distributed out to the community.

Site model of the Gas Holder. Scale 1:200 What I’ve learned?
Making the model, personally taught me the full understanding of the construction process in making the project. For example, on the house to stabilize the suspended hydroponic pods, calculate the length and height of the suspension rods.
Making the natural elements (wildlife + wildflowers) by hand-drawn paper makes the whole element come to life. The hand-drawn also are apart of making the whole project come together. Such as the perspective drawings, models and diagrams have hand-drawn elements in tying them up together.
Medium: Laser-cut Hand-drawn 3D-print

Section of the Hydroponic Farm Pen on Paper, Extrude drawing elements 594mm x 841mm The cross-section of the food hub shows the process of creating the food bank into tinned-can food, drying, and freezing. From right, the process starts with the preparation of the food (food collected is being cleaned and cut), Manufacturing room (food is being cooked). Packaging Room (food is being canned or jars), Collection Room (all the packaged food is being stored in a storage room), Produce kitchen, (some of the fresh collection are being cooked for the community to eat). In the background, it can be seen nature is starting to rewild and emerge together with the Food Hub.

Bat House // Housing for Humans & Non-Humans // Project Overview
Our design brief asked to shift the focus to providing homes for a multiplicity of species, and to consider the biodiversity crisis above all else. Therefore, we needed to create a counter-proposal to what has been presented to us in Capital&Centric’s planning application.
Year 5
This project aims to preserve UK’s bats for the future by adapting them to our modern housing. The building was previoulsy a mill but being turned into housing for the communities and bats.

Year 5
Brinnington are one of the highest-rated for depression in the UK. For PS 2, we will tackle the problems that have been occurring at Stockport for both humans and animals. Re-Breathe will be a place of sanctuary for both humans and animals. Having nowhere to go and losing a sense of purpose, most of ‘depressed’ people leads to increase in crime rates. Towards a new era, there are lots of activities being done in order to protect these wildlife.

1. Timber Framing 2. Recycled wood lattice panel. (encourage trellis) 3. Timber base frame 4. Steel connectors 5. Steel screw (screw the railing frame to the floor) 6. Recycled bottom finishes. (for aesthetic finishes) 7. Concrete floor 8. Recycled timber deck 9. Adjustable boulder joist 10. Screed
Unfortunately, the actions are not enough since there are less home for the non-humans to cater in this busy city. Stockport is known on having lots of wonderful species of birds. But unfortunately, the number of sightings for these birds are becoming lesser day by day. Thus, showed that eventhough actions already been taken, but it still not enough to protect the birds.

What I’ve learned? By creating the section of the building by hand-drawn thought me the creativeness and understanding of the building itself. The elements of the nature I photoshoped to create liveliness in the building.

Hopea Oasis // Housing - Glass Art Workshop // Project Overview
Year 4
In this semester, we were given a chance to do an Experimental Housing. The housing were focused mainly for the urban poor, or ‘miskin bandar’. The exercise for this semester is to provide these two group of people – the B40 and poor. Existing social housing schemes aimed for the two groups have turned into urban slums due to rapid urbanization.
‘’No one gets left Behind’’ is housing for the people who are taken for granted. This is an exercise aiming to adequate, safe and comfortable living environment for the community. Housing is not just about a place to stay, eat and sleep. It’s a living community as a whole.
Watercolour & Pen on paper (594x841 mm) Sectional perspective view.
The perspective tells a story on how alive the plaza will be during an event. Public and the community becomes a whole. The highlighted stained glass lift become the main focus in this building, reflecting the colourful surroundings towards the plaza. The cut was purposely done on long stretch in order to show the user’s movement from public to the private area of the plaza.

The proposal for this project is to create a resting place for the visitors visiting the beach at Langkawi. The proposed building are praying area and a car park for the vendors. Malaysia is popular with outdoor vendor food. Perspective shows how the people interact with the whole space.
This project taught me to design on beach area that has a different topography and foundation.
Medium: Lumion AutoCAD
Reflection: Overall, I am a person who can multirask and do varieties of design. but most of my rendering consist of manuals. I tend to sketch out the detail by hand and then transfer in to Cad or 3D.
