Blendraw is not only a skill development game for children, but a tool which develops the most important, most wonderful competence of the human mind: the power of abstraction. The ability which makes us to separate important and unimportant information from all the messages we get every day. This skill is the base of human thinking. For your children who will grow up in a world overcrowded with information, this ability will be more important than ever! Thinking doesn’t exist without abstraction. Blendraw is the gate, the visual passageway which leads your child from the reality to the world of abstraction, from the concrete to incomprehensible. Blendraw forms this ability to a skill. It contains only a few simple shapes and some square surface to show everything children experience from the surrounding world. These really strict rules make them focus on the most important things, to separate the necessary information from the surrounding noise. For them it is just a game – but this game prepares children for life. Blendraw is an 8×10 square board, which allows children to form various figures using only two different-shaped plastic chips. These items can be rotated, arranged next to one other, exchanged with one other, or leave some blank spaces between them – anything can be done inboard, creating unique compositions. Variations are endless; Blendraw can be used for drawing, writing, showing existing forms or inventing new creatures. The basic package contains plastic chips in 2 different colors, and external packages with more colors can be bought as well. All these limits which would be too strict for an adult, give wings to your children’s creativity. Blendraw develops problem-solving skills, concentration, memory, it helps to recognize everyday interdependences, even helps children with special education needs to get over dysfunctions. Using these small items develops fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and senso motoric skills as well.
