T

his year, many people have faced serious challenges to their mental health. Along with the health impacts of the disease, COVID-19 has led to self and social isolation, disconnection from family and friends, quarantine and lockdowns have resulted in more people than ever experiencing feelings of helplessness, isolation, grief, anxiety and depression.

Mental health is an important part of overall health and wellbeing. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It may also affect how we handle stress, relate to others, and make decisions.

To all those still struggling, pushing those feelings to the back of your brain, the bottom of your heart, never lose hope. We are rocks in a sea of chaos; yet we cannot let every storm knock us around.

The first Arbor Vitae of this tenure is finally released with the mental health as the main topic. Find all the information about this issue in Current Medical Affairs.
