FOREWORD
Evelyn Calista Liaison Officer for Governmental Organization AMSA-Indonesia 2020/2021
Nissa Daradinanti Liaison Officer for Non-Governmental Organization AMSA-Indonesia 2020/2021
Since it was founded in 1996, AMSA-Indonesia continues to grow and develop as a medical students organization. Over time, AMSAIndonesia has established itself as a credible non-governmental organization with clear targets and meaningful impacts in society. With that comes the growing potential of collaborations with external parties, including governmental organizations (GOs) and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Recognizing the importance of collaborating with GOs and NGOs, AMSA-Indonesia 2020/2021 brings forward a mission, which is to assert and establish our organization as a partner with high credibility for external parties. Through collaborations with external parties, especially GOs and NGOs, an organization like AMSA attains more opportunities to further expand our reach in delivering positive impacts to the world around us. Besides the role collaboration has on enhancing our programs and activities for the benefit of society, these collaborations also play a significant role in the holistic development of AMSA-Indonesia as a credible organization, with clear, positive and impactful track records. Last but certainly not least, the benefits attained are also those that will be directly felt by our members to expand their own knowledge, experiences and network.
Through this GO and NGO Guideline, we hope all AMSA-Indonesia members are able to further explore and initiate collaborations with GOs and NGOs. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the members of AMSA-Indonesia, the 36 Representatives of AMSA-universities, our dearest Helena Arnetta Puteri as Regional the Chairperson AMSA-Indonesia 2020/2021, as well as the Executive Board AMSA-Indonesia 2020/2021 for all the help and support we received throughout the process of creating this guideline. We are certain that through collaborations with GOs and NGOs, AMSA-Indonesia along with all its members are able to further develop as medical students that creates boundless impacts for society. Let us ignite our potentials and unleash possibilities! Viva AMSA!
