AMSA-Indonesia has agreed to fully support the main focus of Kemenkes, which is GERMAS (Gerakan Masyarakat Hidup Sehat), through our work program such as health education and community empowerment. In 2012, 2013, and 2015, AMSA-Indonesia had the opportunity together with Yayasan Pita Kuning Anak Indonesia (YPKAI), Evio Production, and Community for Children with Cancer (C3) to successfully held a groundbreaking movement called Shave for Hope. This event was recorded as the largest hair shaving for charity event for child cancer sufferers in Indonesia, and have significantly increased people’s awareness about childhood cancer. This year, AMSA-Indonesia longs to, again, come up with novel and innovative campaign ideas and collaborations to improve health status in Indonesia.
