Cañada Honda School Local Boys Orphanage
Rural school
• 72 children attend the school
• Two Teachers & 1 principle
• School has two daily shifts
• 8am to 12 noon is for 1st & 2nd Grades
• 1pm to 5pm for 3rd & 4th Grades
• School has two classrooms
• Terrace for eating
• Kitchen • 2 bathrooms

• Relocating the entrance steps to prevent the school from being flooded
• Built property walls and fencing for safety reasons
• Replaced all the children’s benches for when they eat
• Replacing the bathroom toilets and sinks
• Cleaning and removing all the trash
• Painting inside and outside

The Orphanage
• The orphanage is home to 29 boys along with 7 staff.
• Their ages range from 2 years to 18 years old.
• The boys may have been removed from the family unit due to abuse or drugs. Or family members being place in jail. It is also due to being abandoned.
• The boys live in separate apartments divided by ages along with a house supervisor.
