LIBRARY CHANGES What happened to the Reference section??? Our reference section has been going through some major changes! In fact, it’s gone! The reference materials have been either moved to the main collection on the 4th floor and can now be checked out, they have been replaced by electronic resources, or they have been weeded from the collection because they were out of date. The empty reference shelves are slowly being filled in with our curriculum materials, which had previously been housed in seperate rooms in the multi-purpose area. Our school textbooks, Lego kits, and manipulatives can be found more easily now that they are on the open shelving. If you need help locating an item that has moved, please let us know, we’re happy to help!

The room formerly known as the North Curriculum Room The North Curriculum Room is being transformed into a conference room! Faculty and staff will be able to reserve this room in the future. This area is still being set up, so it’s not ready yet, but it will be later this semester. This room will be kept locked when not in use.

Shifting Books If you see some book carts and empty shelves upstairs, don’t be worried! We are shifting the main collection to help ease the crowding on the shelves. Sometimes certain sections get too full, and we have to scoot the books around. With as many as we have, though, that’s a big job! Shifting will be an ongoing project this semester.
