Kiwanis Pediatric Cancer Fundraiser Event!! The Mecklenburg Kiwanis Club is looking for good, energized and youthful help for this event which is on Saturday Sept 22 from 11am until 3 pm. I know that this is on the same day as our Club Officers Training Meeting but if you could stop by and help out or get your general members to come out, it would be W O N D E R F U L! This is a great way for them to earn service hours and come on, it’s a really fun event!! There are several activities that require attendants: 2 persons for the pony rides ( one lead and one spotting the rider ), selling of cups of feed for the petting zoo, receiving bids on the silent auction items up until the close of the auction, a popcorn machine and a cotton candy machine. So you can see, there are many fun elements to this festival and they do provide a lunch and drinks. If you are interested, please email me and I will give you more information about it! I am looking to hear from all of you (:
