CTAP , the Advanced Technology Center for Stone, is a private foundation that was created in 2002 driven by the stone industrial sector of Andalucia. CTAP is a R&D center with the main objective of supporting the stone and the advanced materials sector to generate new products and competitive processes in line with international market trends, through technical support and the correct transfer of research results to the enterprises. Ctap works in an international environment. CTAP's expertise can be summed in the following working lines: - Materials engineering. - Natural and artificial stone and derivative materials (concrete, terrazo, etc.). - New Composites. - Functional Treatments (coatigs, surface finishes, reinforcement systems, etc.). - Nanotechnologies. - Design and optimization of pilot lines and industrial process. - Product and process development, validation and certification.
