The project Dexter Sy (D) and Ana de Dios (A) met each other in South Korea at an artist residency in Haslla (http:// www.hasllamuseum.com/rb/?r=home&c=3/19) We liked each others work and this gave us the idea of collaborating together on a project. Exquisite corpse Distance was an important factor in the development of the project. We started by sending unfinished illustrations for the other to finish. The first parcel was sent from Spain to the Philippines where D completed the first serie. Then A received a parcel containing the first completed drawings and others started by D in the Philippines that A would finish in Spain. We decided to use tradicional airmail, making this process old-fashioned in our digital age. Objetive The main idea of our proposal is to organise an exhibition of our finished artwork. That coult also include illustrations on paper, canvas and mural painting, depending on how the project develops. As is relates to a collavorative project between a philippino painter and a spanish painter, you can see both eastern and western styles. Because of nature of the project, we thought that the Spanish Embassy in the Philippines and the Philippines Embassy in Spain coult act as cultural intermediaries. Below you can see some examples of our process and our finished works.
