Entry 4: Forecasting I think trench coats will be a trend in Spring of 2015. By observing the spring 2015 runway shows, trench coats seem to be a recurring theme. That to me signifies that I am not the only one who predicts this trend. The trench coat is also a recurring fashion from the 1900’s making it a historical influence.
I also think leather and suede will be a trend for Spring 2015. As exemplified in my historical influence entry, leather and suede are both recurring fashions. They are worn by both hipsters and modernists which is why it’s my favorite trend. The girl from my street fashion entry is a perfect example with her tote leather handbag.
I think boyfriend jeans will be a trend for spring 2015. They were a very popular trend for fall 2014 and I think that the more people catch on the more popular it will become. I don’t see this trend ending anytime soon.
