IMPRESSIONS OF NID
ANDAAZ APNA APNA
EAT/SLEEP/WORK
This poster was created as a classroom project at NID about what my impressions of design were after my first week there. It was completely hand done using micro tip pens and water colors.
This poster was created as a classroom project at NIFT. The brief was to create a poster for promotion of a film using an iconic character from the film. I chose Andaaz Apna Apna and the character of crimemaster Gogo.
This poster was created as a classroom project at NIFT. The brief was to create a poster about yourself. The illustrations in the poster were all hand done.
ILLUSTRATION
CLASSROOM PROJECT PANGRAM The brief was to illustrate a pangram. I chose a simple illustration style as the pangram reminded me of a gam of hide and seek between children who assume different roles while they play. The style was then extended to illustrate other scinarios like a north Indian family vs. a south Indian family and a funky monk doing kung-fu.
ILLUSTRATION
LIVE PROJECT KASHMIR These digital prints were created for GOOD EARTH for their Kashmir Collection. They were created during a summer internship at I ME AM Design under the guidance of Chetana Sharma. The idea was to represent iconic elements of Kahmir like the shikara, birds and flowers in a victorian, elegant sort of a way. Apart from the prints, some patterns using inspired from Islamic architecture and kettles were also created. These were intended to be printed on merchandise like tote bags, cushion covers, notebook covers and mugs.

UNDERGROUND COMIC As a part of the Open Elective module at NID, we created an eight page comic book inspired from a classic black and white Indian film. I chose Chalti ka Naam Gaadi and tweaked the scene a little. The entire comic was completely hand done and we were shown simple ways of reproducing it using photocopy machines. All the comics were then put together as an anthology.
TYPOGRAPHY
CLASSROOM PROJECTS DROP CAPS These illustrated letters were created as a classroom project at NIFT. They were inspired from the Art Nouveau movement.
UDANKHATOLA GLUE These were a series of posters created as a classroom project at NIFT for packaging for glue. The glue was an all purpose one that could stick any two materials together. Multiple typefaces were used to reiterate that same idea of bringing together different materials and different kinds of people in their mutal need to stick things together.
This lettering was done for the annual fest of NIFT, New Delhi. The theme was ‘Udankhatola - fligts of fancy’. It had to be fun and playful. The lettering was consequently used on the logo for the fest.
LOGO DESIGN
