This research examines the relationship between man and machine and the manner in which new technologies intervene in human and design process. To understand the relationship between human and digital media planning this research examines the evolution of digital design tools and compares the utopian architecture of the 1960s with modern architectural projects over design tools and their social expressions. One of the main results that come out of this research, is about the risk to eliminate the role of architect by the control that acquire digital media. Finally, the new method of digital design of today, express the human need to change both of the built world and the society in which we live, a need that is strongly expressed through the architectural utopias of the 60s and can be achieved through a common network between man and machine.
