bio Born in Bergamo, Italy, in 1983. He graduated in architecture at Politecnico di Milano. He studied at Esaya Madrid and work one year in Madrid at Frpo.es in 2008. In 2009 along with Giulia Urciuoli he graduate with professor Gennaro Postiglione with a thesis about the renovation of a cascina ( farm-house) in Milan, Cascina Mulino San Gregorio. In 2009 he is choosen among other young architects to become part of the team of “Ufficio di Piano� of Expo 2015, and involved into the developement develop the masterplan of Expo Milano 2015. He is still working in Expo 2015, as architect. In 2011 he won with a team made by architects ( Giulia Urciuoli among them) and Ongs, the open competition held by Comune di Milano, for the renovation of Cascina Mulino San Gregorio. In 2011 he realize along with Giulia Urciuoli interior projects and make many competition. In 2012 he co.found with Giulia Urciuoli co.arch , a young architectural practice based in Milan, where is currently involved.

I like low cost project where co.operation is foundmaental. This doesn’t mean low quality proje a deeper research on where found the materia the project and for the realization. I try to have a ready-made approach , when possible, on architecture.
My research is dedicated on the political and so dimension of doing architetcure, trying to ex the interaction among the actors involved, co.llaborate to reach something.
I triy to do multicultural design Architetcural should be practical, comfortable cheap and in the end amusing.
My practice includes the design of food experie spaces, such as restaurant, bistro, and exhibitions to food and wine.

Is the project for the renovation of Cascina MulinoSanGregorio a farmhouse in Parco Lambro Milan, winner of a competiton held by Comune di Milano The project strategy is to renew the building itself with the minumum effort, in terms of classic renovation but trying to add new elements like devices that helps and suggest the new uses of the building. The project has a strong social connotation, part of the building is dedicated to socially fragile people , with rent controlled houses, some part is thought for young invalid afterschool activities. The project attempts to make all these people meet toghter with the community, for that are in program also community garden, 0 km market, rentable spaces for many activities.... The central space is a restaurant open to everybody, try to make people meet with the culture of food. 10

ristornate wang jiao 1 The idea was to create a Chinese restaurant different from the imaginary, recovering some typical elements of Chinese culture, avoiding clichĂŠs. A place where you can meet Italian and Chinese people eating together and sharing good food. The image of the restaurant is the typical way of eating the Chinese: outside their homes, sitting on baskets and lights hanging from the trees, is the attempt to introduce this moment of sociality in Milan. The concept is to maintain a continuity between inside and outside so that people are encouraged to enter. And as if he had come here by chance, as the market and you decide to stop eating fresh food sitting on what you find in the street. The white color is used to smooth and brighten the environment than other Chinese restaurants, are used to illuminate the space simple light bulbs of various sizes hung with strings of colored cord. Finally, the wall built with bricks exposed concrete thought of as scenic space for bottles of wine.
