Okay, so this box is technically “for him” but I kind of want it for myself. It’s catered to the cocktail connoisseur in your life. This personalized gift box will definitely impress your boss, neighbor, uncle or just about anyone who appreciates a goooood cocktail! I went with Gin because it always seems to be a crowd pleaser. Just add in a craft cocktail book, some bar tools, cocktail glasses and a couple fresh ingredients ready for the making and you’re sure to impress! There’s something about a red lip that can make the most casual of outfits seem just a bit more chic andmore pulled together. It’s classic, timeless and just down right fun! December and February are always a good excuse to rock a red lip but I’m on a mission to wear one year round! When I think of red lipsticks there are always three that come to mind so today I’m sharing my favorites... I love each of these lipsticks in today’s post for different reasons but mostly it depends on my mood and look. So first is probably my most worn red which is this Lipstick in Chili. It’s been a staple in my makeup drawer for close to a decade and I can’t get enough of this deeper more old Hollywood red. It’s sexy, subtle and classic. I like to pair it with this lipliner in the color Brick. If you’re looking for true classic red you honestly can not go wrong with Ruby Woo. It’s probably the most traditional perfect shade of red out there and it’s flattering on pretty much all skin types too. They make the matching lip liner to go with it. And last but not least…that in-your-face red you need in your makeup drawer is Mac Lady Danger. It is seriously so good! Vibrant, playful and show stopping. I always get asked what color it is when I’m wearing it and highly recommend it! I like to pair it with this lipliner in Ruby Woo or this lipliner in Holy Red.

H A L F-U P V E LV E T B O W Loosely curl then grab the top section of hair and tease it. Secure with a clear band if needed then, cover it up with a pretty velvet bow or pony cuff!
VOLUMIZED WHIMSICAL BRAID Curl, tease, texturize your hair. Do your thing with a braid and then to make it holiday-appropriate, finish things off with a pretty headband. Would be cute with a pony of low-bun too!

Alright girls! Holiday entertaining is in FULL swing, so today I’m sharing a SUPER easy holiday setup that looks cute AND is inexpensive too. You girls really seem to dig my Trader Joe’s post so I tried to keep the majority of pieces in this post from there! I decided to focus on our little breakfast nook but you can easily recreate this on your dining table or kitchen island too. So here are my quick and easy holiday entertaining on a budget for you girls! As mentioned above, almost everything on the table is from Trader Joe’s-the garland, the wreaths, the giant pinecones, cookies, champagne, sparkling cranberry juice and even the candles! Trader Joe’s can literally be your one-stop shop for quick holiday cocktail party decor. You girls know how much I love TJ’s especially during the holidays with all their festive desserts and holiday greens! (and no this is not sponsored but think we can agree that TJ’s is the shizzzz. Okay let’s talk budget friendly holiday entertaining! Here’s a list of what I bought. You can literally throw this together in 15 minutes, I promise! 1. Garland with added berries (they sell the berry branches separately in the floral section) 2. Taper and Pillar candles in various sizes 3. Large and small wreath (I hung them with command strips on the actual window so my hubs doesn’t kill me for taking paint off the wall like I did with the Halloween bats!) 4. Giant pine cones, these ones don’t have the cinnamon smell but I loved the size. 5. Tiered serving stand with all the sweets on it. This one is super cute (and only $17)! Decor and tablescape are the area I like to tackle first. I start with decor (florals, greens and serving trays to get a feel where I want the spread to go).
Christmas is the honestly the easiest time because a couple wreaths, a little garland, and some oversized pinecones really go a long way (and bonus they last a lot longer than floral arrangements too). Once I get the greens all set up, I like to add in a little pop of color like some berry branches or a few pomegranates. I’m all about convenience, yumminess, and pretty presentation in a hurry… so in comes Trader Joe’s. They seriously have endless treat options (especially during the holidays) and you don’t have to spend a ton to create a cute festive platter like this…. I just grab a few containers to give a variety and texture and just pile them in! They seriously take 5 minutes to throw together and everyone will enjoy! And lastly let’s talk about a festive and crazy easy cocktail that literally takes two minutes to make! The festive drink is CRAZY EASY to make, and you can purchase all the ingredients at Trader Joe’s. It’s only bubbly (pick whichever you like…I went for this one because I like the festive looking bottle), a splash of sparkling cranberry juice and fresh cranberries as garnish. SO easy, festive and tastes REALLY good! I like to have a few poured and ready for sippin’ as soon as our guests arrive. Which I always feels sets the tone for the evening! So pretty right?!! and that’s it! I hope this post gave you girls a little inspo for entertaining/decorating this Winter and know that it doesn’t have to cost a ton of money or time!

I think we can all agree that the holiday party season can wreck havoc on our eating choices. I know for me I especially end up indulging in more cocktails around the holidays. If you over indulge, don’t beat yourself up. Just tack on an extra 20 mins minutes of cardio the next day to try to balance it out.

As the most wonderful (but also the most stressful and busiest) season approaches, meets up and outings can be tougher to make happen. I like combining my meet ups with my friends by working out together. Whether it’s a spin class, outdoor hike or walking around the neighborhood...it’s a great way to sneak in that girl time while getting in that workout too.
If you’re headed to a holiday party ALWAYS eat before you go. If you show up hungry, once that first cocktail hits you’ll be headed for the pizza, creamy dips and carb heavy apps!
This one is a no brainer (and admit something I don’t always do ;) but try alternating every alcohol beverage with water! Not only does it hydrate you but also may save you a drink or two by the end of the night.
Avoid lastly something I live by year round...pick and choose your splurges! Before you indulge try to gauge if it is something you reallllly want or if you’re just having it because it’s there. For me I indulge in cocktails and REALLY splurge worthy desserts. If it’s not one of my absolute favorite splurges then I skip it.
