Context

In a context that has become epidemic in a large number of countries, causing anxiety, insecurity and fear, each profession has a role to play in improving the living conditions of all populations.

The design is defined as “Discipline that seeks to create new objects or environments that are both aesthetic and adapted to their functions.” Thus, our role as designers is put at the service of demand, that is, to find a solution to improve the living conditions of people confined during the Covid 19 pandemic. Problem framing During a containment period, a new virus has appeared. The population greatly reduced and nature takes its rights. The animals return to the cities, the human populations is no longer large enough to repel them. We follow Joao during one day of containment.

Vision of future

During the next outbreak, access to businesses will be anticipated by using the airways. Indeed, each one will be equipped with a drone ensuring the movements for the food races. An application coupled with a virutal reality helmet will allow the user to make purchases in real time during the ordering process. The drone will then retrieve this same order, in order to reduce the risks of

contamination by the displacement.

Solution

Dow can we feel free during a confinement without being able to move around? This is the question that we, people confined, have asked ourselves many times during this confinement. We who are accustomed to go where we want when we want suddenly find ourselves imprisoned at home. Our home is no longer a nice place but turns into a golden prison.

Well, to find a solution to this need of escape we propose MOVE ; a new way to live the daily life when people can’t get out. MOVE is a new system that allows the user to get out of the house thanks to the Virtual Reality. By putting on his helmet, the user can walk down the street and do his daily tasks without running the risk of being contaminated.

MOVE is partnered with Google and uses these features like Maps, Heart, Wallet, and many others to give the most realistic experience possible. When the user is use the helmet he can walk around but he can also go to the supermarket, the pharmacy and even do some shopping. His purchases will be delivered to his home thanks to the MOVE drone.

The service allows also to see friends on the map and contact them because social them because social contact in these difficult times is just as important. Thanks to the application, the user will be able to see its path. He can also check his shopping list before buying, check his activity and even see if his friends are connected. MOVE allows people to live their daily lives without taking the risk of being contaminated or contaminating others. They will also be delivered safely and will have enjoyed a moment of escape during this containment.

Conclusion

We imagined this concept and this product at the beginning of the containment and now here we are at the end. So we are now in a position to be able to criticize our project intelligently. After reflection, we think that Move could become an excellent solution for living your daily life while being confined. After having lived through the confinement, we realized that what was most important to people was the lack of social contact and that shopping became scary. Move is the solution. This project is the perfect answer to both of these demands. Improving social contacts and making daily shopping easier. On the other hand, in order to be able to implement our project, a great improvement in Virtual Reality has to be made as well as a reduction in the price of Virtual Reality accessories so that everyone can benefit from them. Once Virtual Reality has evolved, Move will become the ideal tool for confined living.
