CLOVER PUBLISHING
Branding Standards
Clover Mission It is Clover Publishing’s mission to publish books solely for educational purposes and use 25% of its yearly profits towards higher educational scholarship and funding research across disciplines.
Clover History Clover Publishing came out of Miller and Hoppes Publishing in Boston, MA when Francis Miller gave his publishing company to Henry Fesler. In 1902 together they renamed it Clover Publishing and established a mission solely focused on publishing educational texts. It was Henry Fesler’s dream and mission to grow Clover to a level from which it could give educational scholarships to university students in the North East United States and from which it could donate to fund higher education research. First signs of his vision came to fruition in 1959 when they issued their first scholarship. Their first donation to scholarly research was issued in 1978. Today they are renowned for their contribution to the field of education. The clover company name and the clover and butterfly logo came from the Clover Publishing property. Out of the window on the second floor you could see out to a rare patch of green next to the building given its city local. That patch had been overgrown in clovers and the butterflies would hover over them feeding on their leaves. This was a view that Henry Fesler looked on just after Mr. Martin had asked him to take on the publishing house. As he looked out that window and pondered his future he gleaned the vision and mission the Clover Publishing operates by today.
