Struttura a telaio in legno lamellare IMIWOOD – la tua casa nasce dal legno utilizza il sistema costruttivo ad intelaiatura autoportante in legno lamellare che, a differenza dei “telai in legno massello”, offre un’elevata stabilità strutturale e una flessibilità costruttiva che consente di edificare qualunque progettazione architettonica anche pluripiano.

Il sistema a Telaio in Legno Lamellare o Platform Frame, consiste nella formazione di una intelaiatura autoportante (assemblata in stabilimento) composta da pilastrini in Legno Lamellare, di sezione 60x160mm, che viene ancorata, attraverso tirafondi in acciaio, a una platea in calcestruzzo areata dando così luogo ad una struttura “scatolare” indipendente piano per piano.

Le pareti costituenti l’ossatura vengono tamponate nella parte esterna ed interna con un pannello di irrigidimento a base di legno in OSB CLASSE E1, con elevata resistenza meccanica, dello spessore di mm 12.5 e coibentate con Pannelli di Fibra di Legno, o Lana di Roccia.

Sul piano della sostenibilità, il legno non ha rivali tra i materiali da costruzione: è rinnovabile e riciclabile; consuma pochissima energia nelle fasi di produzione

Glulam Frame IMIWOOD – your house is made of wood and uses the self-supporting glulam frame building system which, unlike “solid wood frames”, offers a high structural stability and building flexibility allowing to erect any kind of architectural project, including multiple-story buildings.

The Glulam Frame System, or Platform Frame, consists of a self-supporting frame (assembled inside the manufacturing plant) made of glulam pillars, with a section of 60x160 mm, secured to a ventilated concrete base slab with steel anchor rods, thus creating an independent box-like structure for each floor.

The supporting walls are internally and externally buffered with 12.5mm OSB E1 wood stiffening panels, offering high resistance to mechanical stress, and insulated with wood fiber or rockwool panels.

In terms of sustainability, wood has no rivals among building materials: it is renewable and recyclable; it uses very little energy during the production and installations steps; it does not release emissions, dust or harmful fibers during its use; it does not pollute when disposed of; and it returns the accumulated energy if used for thermoventilation.

Da un punto di vista strutturale il legno lamellare può essere assimilabile all’acciaio, ma presenta una migliore resistenza al fuoco, grazie ad una combustione estremamente lenta dovuta alla mancanza di fessurazioni e al fatto che la bassa conduttività termica garantisce protezione alla parte centrale della trave stessa. È caratterizzato inoltre da un ottimo comportamento antisismico. Ulteriori vantaggi derivano dalla possibilità di una prefabbricazione che consente di ottenere un materiale con caratteristiche di omogeneità ed uniformità di resistenza superiore alla corrispondente essenza legnosa in massello.

From a structural point of view, glulam can be compared to steel, but it offers more resistance to fire, thanks to a very slow combustion due to the lack of cracks and to the low thermal conductivity, ensuring protection to the central part of the beam. It also has excellent antiseismic properties.

Further benefits are related with the prefabricating techniques that ensure a higher, and more homogeneous resistance compared to the corresponding solid wood material.

Prefabricated box elements are used to divide the roof into rectangular sectors, each measuring about 12 sq meters. The different functional layers, which may include the roof covering, are assembled inside each box. The single units are entirely made at the manufacturing plant and they are fitted with bands to allow their lifting through cranes. The design of each element allows to overlap the membranes ensuring their continuity, and if necessary it is also possible to tape the joining parts together.

The IMICOP building system resolves all problems related to the assembly of covering modules at the building site. The ventilated IMICOP roof by IMIWOOD offers several technical and functional benefits, introduced by the ventilation system: - elimination of the water vapor that tends to move upwards from the lower areas, preventing its accumulation on the cold inner surface of the roofing tiles; - hot air goes out during summer, before the external heat is transferred to the rooms underneath; - any leakage due to strong rainfall or to the typical absorption of the roofing tiles is not trapped in.
