For the cream: 300 g topinambour (Jerusalem artichokes) 150 g potato 20 g shallots 5 g garlic 20 g onion 5 g thyme 4 g bay 100 g fresh cream Salt and pepper to taste 10 g brown sugar vanilla stick or in a powder- to taste For the garnish: 200 g peeled eggplant, sliced 50 g whole caramelized hazelnuts PROCEDURE: For the dough: Mix all ingredients and let stand for at least 2 hours. For the sauce: caramelize the mushrooms, making sure that the sugar does not make them stick to the bottom. For the cream: prepare the base with all ingredients, bring to a boil for 40 minutes (no more), and whisk well. The presentation is in two parts: first the cream, then place the mushroom pasta topped with fried eggplant and whole hazelnuts.

Active around Suggested itineraries the lake for mountain bike lovers... Marocche Difficulty: medium Length: 27.5 km Difference in altitude: 242 m Duration: 3 h A long but not difficult path that leads to the northern edge of the Sarca Valley. From the parking lot at the Arco bridge you follow along the right bank of the river and the steep cliff of the castle of Arco, which merits a visit, as does the town of Arco. Along the asphalt road, which passes through Prabi, you can admire the ancient church of Sant’ Apollinare and the hermitage of San Paolo. You then reach the Roman bridge of Ceniga which you will leave on your right side. At this point, the path becomes uneven, but never difficult. This first stretch of dirt road ends on the outskirts of Dro, where you take the dirt road following in the direction of Pietramurata. As you
pedal north, you will see the smooth face of Mount Brento and the "Zebra Wall", which are renowned climbing areas. After reaching the motocross track of Ciclamino Pietramurata, cross the main road and head towards the center of the town. This is the start of the return trip along the Marocche, a stony deserted place from the post-glacial era, on dirt roads that follow the river Sarca on the opposite side. Once you reach the former Fies hydroelectric plant, you will be on a paved road. Reach the crossroad, turn right and then left and you are on the bike path that takes you to the town of Dro. Follow the directions for Ceniga, and on your right the new cycle path begins along the river Sarca which will take you back to the starting point.

From the center of Torbole sul Garda you follow the paved road uphill, until you reach the Parco delle Busatte at the foot of Monte Baldo (approx. 30 minutes). From the lawn of the park a spectacular hike on the BusatteTempesta trail begins. It’s a nature trail overlooking the lake that stretches for 4 km, with an
iron staircase of almost 400 steps. The trail is semi-flat and has two uphill parts: Corno di Bò and Salt de la Cavra. In approximately an hour and a half, while walking through beautiful scenery overlooking the lake and with amazing geological, floral and natural phenomena, you will reach Tempesta.

Recently built, this golf club is set in an environment of great beauty, along the river Sarca, at 1,650 meters above sea level. The Church of the Inviolata The Church of the Inviolata is one of the most important monuments of Riva del Garda. It was built in 1603 and consecrated in 1636 for the commitment of Gaudenzio Madruzzo and his wife Alfonsina Gonzaga to make it a place of pilgrimage containing a miraculous tabernacle. A rare example of a medieval fortress situated inside a village city, and it is now the Civic Museum of Riva. La Rocca, a very ancient castle of Riva del Garda, despite several changes, still retains an austere and elegant feel at the same time. La Rocca is also an art gallery, with works by Pietro Ricchi, Francesco Hayez and Vincenzo Vela among others.
Prestigious and recently discovered archaeological site. The structure and quality of the remains show a thermal complex dating to the first century A.D., consisting of a rectangular building and a few connected rooms: the frigidarium, the tepidarium, the calidarium and a sort of sauna.
The heart of the old and the modern town, where you can find the Praetorian Palace and the City Hall, the Apponale tower and some antique mansions.
Opening hours: from 10.00 to 12.30 and from 1.30 to 6.00 pm. During the summer (July to September) it is also open on Mondays.

Monte Brione of Riva del Garda (3 km) Mount Brione is interesting due to its flora, which includes an incredible variety of species in a relatively small area.

Cascata del Varone (4 km) The Cascata del Varone (waterfall) is a geological rarity. It is a gorge that penetrates 55 meters from the entrance, but at its highest point the gorge reaches a depth of 73 meters. The waterfall cascades 98 meters in total.
Le Marmitte dei Giganti Nago (4 km) These glacial wells were formed by the fusion waters of the glacier which, falling into crevasses, caused a whirling motion of pebbles that slowly eroded the rock. The wells are located near the main scenic road overlooking the lake, which connects Nago to Torbole.
Bosco Caproni di Arco (7 km) An area of great environmental interest and rich historical and artistic heritage. The natural works of art that can be found here refer to the "Sculpture Park Drena 3000", a cultural event where art and nature come together in perfect harmony. You can find your own spirit amid statuary stone quarries and unspoiled nature.
Biotopo Marocche di Dro (12 km) The area of the moraines of Dro, formed by rock fall from Monte Brento and Monte Casale (right side of the valley) and landslides sliding from the left side, has been a protected habitat for many years with its ownscenic path with stopping points where you can appreciate the natural conformation of this pristine oasis.

On the 4th of July, as part of the Garda Jazz Festival event, on the veranda of the hotel the concert of Ada Montellanico Trio took place. Ada Montellanico is one of the most original and important authors and singers of our jazz scene. She has worked with international artists and has participated to many prestigious Italian and foreign festivals, acclaimed by the critics and by the audience.
In May, our Resort accommodated the Inter veterans, who played against a selection of the FC Bayern Munich, where there were some famous players of the German national team. We saw once more the great champions of a not too distant past: Altobelli, Beccalossi, Figo, Toldo on the one hand, and Aumann, Brehme and Breitner on the other. For the record, the teams tied (1-1, goals by “Spillo” Altobelli and Tarnat).

Oldtimer- Vintage Cars
In the first half of July, the Du Lac et Du Parc Grand Resort proposed to the management of the renowned German team its partner Hotel Lido Palace as seat for their summer retreat. F.C. Bayern accepted and the event, which was a great success, was applauded by all football fans.
The past season will be remembered as the one with the most beautiful vintage car rallies: in addition to all the Ford Cortina, which, after a stop in Riva del Garda, reached Cortina d’Ampezzo ("Cortinas to Cortina"), we hosted some beautiful (and valuable) Jaguars, but also Porsches and (the latter more modern) sparkling Ferrari cars: fans could not have been more pleased!

Rolls Royce Event June 2013 The first major competitive events in the automotive world were, first of all, an opportunity to test the engines, the stability and the reliability of the cars, and usually took place from one city to another: we remember the Paris - Rouen in 1894, the 1898 Paris - Amsterdam - Paris, the Paris - Berlin in 1901, and the 1902 Paris - Vienna. But the true challenge of engine technology of the time would be played out in the Alps, the ideal ground to test cars and drivers. And here, in 1913, the grand tour of the Alps took place, from St. Moritz, through 19 passes, in the territory of Austria, Slovenia, Italy, and again St. Moritz, with the Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost cars as stars. The centenary tour will be a sight to see, and these magnificent cars will make a fine show in the parking lot of our Resort from June 21st to the 23rd.
