LOC - Loreto Open Community
The community at the center
Milan (Italy), 2021
Loreto, from a large traffic hub to a public green open-air square, directly connected to NoLo in order to grant the continuity to the connection Buenos Aires/Padova.
The architectures, sustainable and highquality buildings, become an urban setting, the banks of a permeable but protected square, elements of attractiveness and urban protection. LOC represents the choice to bring humans back to the center of all the design actions in an urban regeneration perspective.
The natural component is the essence of the project with the aim of establishing a new green center for Milan.
LOC intends to reconstruct the urban and social fracture between the southern area of Milan with Corso Buenos Aires axis and the northern area, represented by NOLO, Via Padova and Viale Monza.
