DESIGNER LETTER What is Brand? Company without a brand is like human born without name. For me, brand is an identity created by the company to give the public some ideas about what kind of company they are, without needing any kind of media. Brand is not the main element to build a company but brand support company to introduce what kind of product they offer. A brand can be used as a benchmark to show the level of their products’ quality and also became the media to show the background, history, or maybe philosophy of the company.
What is your favorite brand ? Staple Pigeon is New York street clothing brand company founded by Jeff Ng known as Jeff Staple. Staple Pigeon brand can be identified by a Pigeon on their logo. What makes me choose this brand as my favorite is not because their products but because of the interesting philosophy behind their brand. Pigeon as the symbol of the brand shows the way that it represents New York City as their base and at the same time it can reach any country all over the world because we can easily find pigeon everywhere. Another reasons why they choose pigeon as their symbol is because they want their own brand to have an element that similar with the feeling of having a pet and also represent an animal that can be survived in any situation Every single collaboration product that they do is constantly have a strong introduction about their brand where they always involve pigeon as their identity. Their products always have with black, grey, white, and also some pink color on their details to represent the feet of the pigeon.

The shape of RJ Paper logo was inspired from paper folding, which is evolving from the anatomy of the "R" and "J".

LOGO USAGE
Our logo is the touchstone of our brand and one of our most valuable assets. We must ensure proper usage. The preferred way to use the RJ Paper logo is over a white/light background. If the logo must be placed on a dark background or color options are limited then the RJ Paper logo can be knocked out and used in one color. Please observe the clear space around the logo to maximize visual effectivenes. Nothing should intrude into this specified clear space.
