Latin Impact Ministries has recently experienced unprecedented growth and expanding ministry opportunities. LIM has evolved over the years to not only be involved in foreign missions and national pastor support, but is also serving by hosting pastors and missionaries at our missions base; city wide youth outreaches; mentoring youth leaders, and is forming a Frontiers Sending Base for Hispanics living in the U.S.

These opportunities are creating a need for increased travel both nationally and internationally while balancing family needs and serious time restraints. Over the years we have had to turn down ministry opportunities due to time and transportation challenges. Cuba is in the midst of some of the greatest changes of the past 50 years. We will begin the process of obtaining permission to travel directly to the island, saving time and resources allowing us to be more efficient in ministry. Many of the places where we need to travel are not accessible by major airlines. This airplane will allow us to mobilize quickly for disaster relief outreaches in the Caribbean and Central America. Operating finances will be provided by using funds already used in current travel, increased ministry opportunities which provide additional income, and reimbursement by some passengers who will benefit from the use of the plane. Russell is an instrument rated pilot with over 13 years experience. Now is a good time to invest in aircraft because they are experiencing a temporary dip in cost. An aviation fund has already been formed. The target amount of $120,000 is needed to obtain the aircraft and to set up an efficient and safe operation. All donations are tax deductible. This aircraft will be owned and operated by and for the ministry.
