Adobe® Illustrator®… let´s do it! Adobe® Illustrator® is a professional quality graphic art program, it offers you all the needed tools for creating and managing amazing vector art design. Its applications are diverse, from creating print to web graphics and, for our purposes, posters. Although the program is complex and requires a significant amount of time to truly master, it is quite easy to learn the basics and create work with a professional appearance. Designing something does not require any special artistic talent or skills; it just requires having the patience to get acquainted with the program. That is the reason why the Ai training will be divided into two packages, in the first one we will explain the most basic concepts and in the second one we will cotine with some medium knoweledge. As explained Adobe Illustrator is a tool to design a different range of graphic art using vectorized graphics. Before we continue with the training it is really important to explain what are Vecotorized Graphics: Vector graphics is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves, and shapes or polygon(s), which are all based on mathematical expressions, to represent images in computer graphics. "Vector", in this context, implies more than a straight line toward align.

Example showing effect of vector graphics versus raster graphics. The original vector-based illustration is at the left. The upper-right image illustrates magnification of 7x as a vector graphic. The lower-right illustrates the same magnification as a raster (bitmap) graphic. Raster images are based on pixels and so when scaled there is a loss of clarity, while vector-based graphics can be scaled by any amount without degrading quality.

Perhaps the first 6 videos were really easely to understand, however know the basic grounds of Ai really matter. As well, regarding the 7th video, it is absouutely key to conquer the use of the pen, though it is a really easy tool, it is perhaps one of the most powerful tools in the hole Ai, so don´t be shy and let yourself free with this amazing tool.
