EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Over the next several weeks and months, as our industry stabilizes from the COVID-19 pandemic, the workforce will slowly but surely return back into physical offces, yards, warehouses and jobsites. This guide provides a road map for navigating through the current COVID-19 pandemic and outlines practices to prevent the spread of the virus, such that we can transition back into operations safely and effectively. We will focus on primary areas which are applicable to nearly every construction frm throughout the nation. Although we are all faced with common challenges, understandably, this unprecedented migration will slightly differ for each organization depending upon the specifc, on-site conditions and workfow attributes within and outside of the offce environment.

As we compile this guide, it is important to note that the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), among other health organizations and government bodies, are the primary sources for guidance on COVID-19 and other health-related issues. The intent of this resource is to lay the foundation for proactive recommendations which we can all build upon to fortify our operations and reinforce safety protocols as we move forward through these unprecedented times.
