CONCEPT_ “Cereal Killers is an exhibition celebrating the most important meal of the day: Breakfast. Cereal is the fuel in our engines, a time honoured tradition shared by children and adults alike.” The Cereal Killers exhibition gives visitors the chance to sample the wide range of cereals on offer while showcasing the vibrant and colourful packaging.
Floor plan_ Exhibition floor plan based on Leeds Gallery. Floor plan shows how the ‘Cereal Killers’ exhibition will be set out and how the visitors will navigate around the exhibition. Visitors will follow the spilt milk wayfinding which will be placed along the dotted line. This will allow them to sample each of the ten cereals being exhibited. The table in the centre of the room provides visitors with a place to sit down and enjoy their cereal. This is where ‘cereal killer’ branded milk will be available.

Way finding ‘Don’t cry over spilt milk... Follow it.’ is the concept behind the way finding system at the Cereal Killers exhibition. The wayfinding begins with a leaky milk bottle and a vinyl puddle of milk and is followed by smaller milk splashes. These smaller splashes lead the visitors around the exhibition in the route defined on the floor plan.

Private view invites_ Private viewing invites to the ‘Cereal Killers’ exhibition. The invites have been created by backing a variety size cereal box with the Cereal Killers branding and exhibition information. This invite will be posted out to those who I wish to attend the private viewing where they will be able to have a sample of ‘Cereal Killers’ before the event. “Cereal Killers is an exhibition celebrating the most important meal of the day: Breakfast. Cereal is the fuel in our engines, a time honoured tradition shared by children and adults alike. What cereal do you eat ? Shredded wheat or a different treat ? Come along to Cereal Killers private viewing on the 21st of May.”
Exhibition Posters_ Posters promoting the Cereal Killers exhibition. Using the same visual identity to make the product range work as a set. The posters explain where the exhibition will be held using vibrant colours to stand out from other posters around Leeds. The posters also have a short explanatory sentence taken from the private view invites above: “An exhibition celebrating the most important meal of the day: Breakfast.”

Bowls & Publication_ Visitors will receive this ‘bowl pack’ when entering the Cereal Killers exhibition. The pack includes a bowl, a spoon and a small booklet containing a few facts about each cereal exhibited. This pack provides visitors with all the tools necessary to enjoy the cereals around the room and find out more about them.
The publication contains information about each of the top 10 cereals in the exhibition. The booklet only measures 90mm by 50 mm so it fits within the area of the top of the bowl. Because of the small size the booklet the amount of information included had to be short and just give visitors a small amount of info and ultimately let the tasting do the talking:

Short Animation_ Short animation which will be looped and projected on exhibition wall. The animation features an animated version of ‘Cereal Killers’ logo and the filling up of a cereal bowl with milk and cornflakes. This animation has also been converted into a looped gif which can be used on for online advertising.

Exhibition Mock Up_ These are images of the Cereal Killers exhibition mock up. The mock up includes: ‘spilt milk’ way finding system, branded plinth with cereal box, vinyl stickers and projection of short animation. The exhibition would also include cereal dispensers, and a Weetabix Totaliser, giving visitors the chance to vote on their favourite cereal of the exhibition.
