_ It is my job within the collaboration to do any of the paper crafting. So therefore had the task of producing the paper pizza. Soon after I started crafting the pizza I realized that the nets were very ďŹ ddly to craft because of the small size. I had based the nets on an actual pizza so one slice would be about 6" which meant that the toppings had to be very small. _ To ďŹ x this problem I decided to increase the size of the pizza so that the toppings and base were easier to assemble. This also meant that the quality of the ďŹ nished toppings would be better because the tabs would be easier to fold and also hold together better.

_ Because it is my job to do the crafting I had to create the pizza box which would contain the publication and paper crafted pizza. We both decided that the pizza box should show off a certain stock by Fedrigoni which we really liked. We decided upon this burgundy colour and I began covering the pizza box in the stock. Seb also added the same stock to the publications spine so that they work together as a set. _ I also used the laser cutter to cut out the Fedrigoni logo out of thick mount board. This branded both the pizza box and publication but also showcased another paper weight available from Fedrigoni.

_ This brief also allowed me to improve my Photoshop skills. Because we were taking close up photos of the pizza it was important for us to try and get rid of any of the inaccuracies in crafting. _ Here you can see a before and after shot of the pizza close up that I have photoshopped. I used a mixture of the patch tool, the paintbrush and the clone stamp tools to edit the photographs that we had taken of the pizza and the other deliverables. I also used the vibrancy tool to adjust the colour of the photographs to try and show off the vibrant Fedrigoni stock available.

_ It was Seb's role within our collaboration to produce the publication and the publication layout. He decided on a publication which has a 3 page spread inside. The ďŹ rst page of the 3 page spread will explain the stock and the topping you create using it. The second will contains a 3D image of the food that the net assembles into and the last page will contain the nets so those interacting with the menu can create their own foods to add to their pizza. _ It was my job to create any imagery within the project and therefore had to create the imagery for all of the pages which contained the 3D toppings which you can see on the middle pages.

_ To demonstrate our ideas during crits and tutorials I created any of the visual graphics to add to Seb’s boards. _ This 3D explosion diagram was used to explain how we would build our Fedrigoni pizza and demonstrate how the client could pick and choose which toppings they wanted on top of the pizza. _ These 3D illustrations were also used in the ďŹ nal presentation boards which were sent to YCN. We used the image to explain that we had used the different Fedrigoni stocks for each topping.
