Yoke - Dialogue

May 2014

Design For my submission to Yoke, I decided to design a poster which resembled a main form of digital dialogue in the twenty first century, the mobile phone. I created an image of two hands holding phones which sending data between them creating a dialogue between the digital devises. I created the poster so that it could be either landscape or portrait and could be flipped upside down. Doing this meant that Nathan and Eve were able to print my poster however they wanted.

Exhibition Yoke was a nice short brief which allowed entrants to design a black and white poster under the theme of ‘Dialogue’. These posters were then screen printed by Nathan and Eve with another entrants poster overlaid creating a dialogue between the two layers. I was over the moon to be paired with Two Points, a freelance designer based in Barcelona. I felt like the colours that Eve and Nathan decided to print my poster in really showed off the artwork I had provided. I am glad I submitted to the exhibition and was really happy with how my work was printed and displayed at the exhibition.
