I am an enthusiastic and responsible industrial engineer and product designer, who loves what I do. I enjoy learning new things and feel motivated when doing them with passion. I highly value hard work and obtaining a self-satisfying result. I am good at team working, I feel that it is very important to share one’s knowledge and use it by combining it with others. I believe design is a tool to change the world and I intend to use it to do just that. “Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.” – Steve Jobs

The first step in the creative process of designing the glass bottle has been analysing the market and the trends, to be able to decide what drink the bottle will be designed for. Then, the user and the environment have been established, and after defining the brief and positioning, the ideation phase has begun. After sketching and using different deliberation methods, the final design of the bottle has been defined and the concept has been fully developed, making little aesthetic changes and deciding on the final dimensions while making a 3D model. The brand of the bottle has also been designed; the name, the logo, and the labels, as well as the packaging, designed to fulfill some needs detected during the analysis phase. Eventually, the brand’s promotion has been defined: advertising panels, webpage, app...

BRIEF “An individual drink-sized glass bottle containing convenient, premixed low alcohol cocktails. The product is aimed at the young and trendy. The bottle has a unique and ergonomic design, and incorporates spices to personalise the flavour of each cocktail. A lid will ensure that the bottle can be reused and all elements of the product will be sustainable.

Individual project
Having the challenge of redesigning a product, the following lack on the market has been detected: popular baby high-chairs on the market had numerous errors. First, many possible solutions have been proposed and sketches of these have been made. Also, the user and the aesthetic of the product have been determined. Later, focusing on one different part of the product at a time, the whole high chair has been designed and completelly defined. The different functions the chair has have been explained and the needed mechanisms have been designed. Eventually, the product has been fully defined and a product panel has been done.

A CHAIR THAT ADAPTS TO DIFFERENT AGED CHILDREN When the toddler grows older, remove the upper chair and use the one below
A TABLE THAT CAN BE STORED AWAY AND A BASE THAT CAN BE FOLDED
THE UPPER CHAIR CAN BE LEANED BACK
21
AESTHETIC
FIRST SKETCHES Different options, all of them with wooden canes crossed different ways
BRIEF:
The table can be folded away, different options
INSTEAD
A chair for toddlers from 6 months to 6 years, that in addition to ensuring safety and comfort for the child, eases parents’ job. Legs that don’t stick out, avoiding accidents, a table that can be folded away so it adapts to different situations, and a good and modern aesthetic.
The table has a guide, that fits together with the base. It has magnets, to make it easier to put and remove. This way, it can be done with a single hand.
22
The best convination between stability and aesthetic
Moving the crossing point upwards and adding surface to the base, higher stability is obtained
REFINING THE SHAPE 2 SHAPE POSSIBILITIES
Instead of choosing... WHY DON’T PUT THE TWO TOGETHER?
To keep the baby in its place and avoid falling
An egg-shaped chair to protect and keep the baby safe
This part unites the two chairs The upper chair can be used separately, putting in above any flat surface.
First chair
The axis, assembles the first chair to the part that unites the two chairs
A simpler and lower chair, for older toddlers, that gives them more freedom and independence
Second chair
23
DEFINING THE MECHANISM ¿HOW IS THE UPPER CHAIR GOING TO ROTATE AND HOW TO ACHIEVE THIS CHAIR TO HAVE TWO POSITIONS? Plastic
Metal
¿HOW WILL THE TABLE HAVE TWO POSITIONS? The table gets fixed by a base that is assembled to the axis of the chair. This axis has a part that sticks out, and by pushing it inwards, rotation is possible. So when the sticky part connects with the hole, it fixes the table in the wanted position.
To make it possible for one part to rotate in relation to the other
Second position (chair leaned back)
Push the button and rotate
Mechanism
The mechanism is activated by pushing the button. It has two positions, and by pushing it the rotation is made posible. The spring pushes the button towards the outside when it reaches the second position. Push the sticky part inwards
Initial position
Atado a la silla superior
Saliente que permite la rotación entre las dos partes
Unido a la pieza que une las dos sillas
Final position

MATERIALS AND MANUFACTURING PROCESSES MATERIALES The main material used will be Arboform, also called liquid wood, which is a substance made out of wood compounds. It is a substitute to plastic, that can be molded and becomes hard once it dries. Since it comes from wood, it’s biodegradable, is really tough, has lower manufacturing costs than wood and plastic and can be used to manufacture complex shaped products.
PROCESOS DE FABRICACIĂ“N Since Arboform is defined as a substance half like plasctic and half like wood, it can be moulded using the same manufacturing processes used for plastic materials. So injection would be the manufacturing process used for this product.

The project consisted in designing a car for the year 2030, so an autonomous concept car has been developed. The creative process started by suggesting ideas, aiming to define a brief. Then, a shape, material and color search has been made, resulting in a moodboard and also defining the user of the car. In the ideation phase, a lot of sketches have been made and the final design has been defined step by step. Eventually, every little aspect and function of the car has been defined and explained using panels. Also, in order to show each detail of the car in the most realistic way possible, renders of the car have been made.

A bath toy for toddlers aged 2 to 5 has been designed. The first step has been to analyze bath toys, their market and the user, in order to define the characteristics the product will have to fulfill and establish a brief. Then, taking the brief into account, different sketches have been developed following various creative techniques. From those, 3 drafts have been chosen. Later, one of the three drafts has been selected and, after improving some details of the toy, its dimensions and materials have been defined. Once done that, the toy’s behaviour on the water has been analyzed, as well as the manufacturing processes. Eventually, 2D plans have been made. Also a product poster and a project panel.

A more innovative hair trimmer, that combines the classic with the new. Buzzcut, with its longer shape, adapts better to the hand, thanks to the back curve and the leather that covers the whole back of the machine. With two buttons, which positions are ergonomically studied so that using the hair trimmer is as easy as possible, makes it really comfortable to turn on-off and control the lenght of the blades, even with one hand.
A hair trimmer based on the all time classics, with a renewed shape. Being half-covered by leather, and having only one multi-function button; on-off and controlling the blades’ lenght, makes it easier to use. Its curves also adapt to the hand for higher ergonomics.

A collection of my pictures. Photography is one of my passions, always has been and hopefully always will. I think it’s a unique way of capturing a moment forever. I also love travelling, and the trips I’ve done have been the perfect combination of these two passions. I enjoy looking at landscapes, people, buildings, lights... and trying to capture them in a personal way. As they say, a picture is worth more than a thousand words...
