Welcome to SE23 There have been a few changes since my last issue, mainly the reopening of non-essential shops. This is fabulous news for the local community and it is great to see more of our shopkeepers back in business. Did you know there is a golf club over in East Dulwich? Aquarius Golf Club is one of East Dulwich’s hidden gems. New lady captain Fiona Nott shares her experiences since joining the club on page 24. Local charity Link Age Southwark has launched a brand new project Bloomin’ Lovely, with the aim of bringing colour and nature back to the lives of older people, but they need your help to make it happen. See page 30 for more. The Last Word goes to Orlene Henry. Orlene is a mum of two and local fitness instructor. Find out more on page 32. We all know how important it is to shop local, but I am going to say it again! Please do consider all the wonderful people who work hard all year round to keep the independent spirit of Forest Hill and Honor Oak alive. Where you can, please do support them by shopping locally.
