JASON MANFORD TO STAR AT LIGHT UP BRAMHALL
ramhall Together Trust have announced that this year’s Light Up Bramhall event will take place on Sunday 27th November and that Jason Manford has agreed to be part of the entertainment on the day! Jason made a cameo appearance at Light Up Bramhall four years ago but this year he’s the star of the show, leading a festive sing-along to get the whole of Bramhall in a Christmas mood. Once again the village will become a festive wonderland for the day, with a Christmas market
in the Village Square, a fun fair on Bramhall Lane South, a great street food (and drink!) offer and a whole load of entertainment on the Strawberry Radio Stage. Kids will be able to visit Santa in his Village Square grotto between 12pm and 4pm, before cheering on his sleigh as he heads to the stage for the big switch on at 6pm. Keep an eye on the Bramhall Together Trust Facebook page for further updates.
BRAMHALL & WOODFORD ROTARY CLUB SANTA’S CHRISTMAS VILLAGE TOUR
S
anta will be out and about on his annual Village Tour but he will still not be able to talk with the youngsters directly, we need everyone to stay safe. As ever, Santa’s Elves have been very busy. Not only have they been preparing the Float to take Santa on his annual tour but they have also been checking out the routes around the villages. Santa will begin his Tour in his sleigh on Saturday 3rd December, on Bramhall and Woodford Rotary Club’s Float, and will then be out and about for 16 nights in Bramhall, Woodford and Cheadle Hulme inviting the children to post a letter saying what they would REALLY like for Christmas. Once again he will be visiting the Woodford Garden Village to see the boys and girls there. The Christmas Float is a well known fund raiser which has been in existence for over forty five years raising thousands of pounds for many deserving causes in

that time. This year sixteen local organisations and charities will be visiting most of the streets in the area with Santa and helping him with the collection. Please encourage your young ones to write a letter to Santa so that when you hear or see the Float they can pop it into his post box. Leighton Snow Lettings and Crown & Conspirator Bramhall have very kindly donated to support Santa this year. Leaflets will be delivered to your door during November and local social media sites will carry details of the night when he will be coming to your street to pick up your Christmas wish list and bring you some early Christmas goodies. Don’t forget to track him with the SantaTracker on our website www.bwrotary.org , with daily information on the Facebook page (Bramhall and Woodford Rotary).
