Apresentação A Universidade Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe (UNIARP) é a sucessora da Universidade do Contestado no campus de Caçador e resultou de deliberação em assembléia geral ocorrida em dezembro de 2009, a qual promoveu a alteração estatutária da Fundação Universidade do Contestado - Campus Universitário de Caçador - UnC-Caçador, que por sua vez, já havia resultado da alteração estatutária da Fundação Educacional do Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe (FEARPE), esta constituída e organizada pela sociedade civil em assembléia geral de 31 de Julho de 1971.

A UNIARP é mantida pela Fundação Universitária Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe (FUNIARP), ente público de direito privado, fundação filantrópica e sem fins lucrativos, dotada de autonomia administrativa, patrimonial, econômico-financeira e didáticodisciplinar.

A transformação da FEARPE em Fundação Universidade Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe (FUNIARP), com sede à Rua Victor Baptista Adami n° 800, na cidade de Caçador, Estado de Santa Catarina, deu-se no ano de 2009, para a consolidação da UNIVERSIDADE ALTO VALE DO RIO DO PEIXE- UNIARP, que tem sede à Rua Victor Baptista Adami, também na cidade de Caçador, Estado de Santa Catarina. A Universidade Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe é uma instituição voltada para atender a demandas de educação superior.

A Instituição, juntamente com o Colégio de Aplicação, atua na educação básica, graduação, pós-graduação, pesquisa e extensão.

Outro diferencial importante está na infraestrutura disponibilizada aos seus estudantes e acadêmicos, através de laboratórios técnico-científicos para realização de aulas práticas, fator imprescindível para o fomento de empresas de base tecnológica.

Caçador tem uma Universidade completa, com corpo docente de alto nível, estrutura, laboratórios, equipamentos e uma política de Assistência Social que presta auxílio em forma de bolsas de estudos e através de projetos sociais. Sua atuação comunitária hoje atinge mais de cinco mil pessoas através dos diversos projetos sociais em andamento.

Presentation University Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe (UNIARP) is the successor of University Contestado in the campus of Caçador and resulted from de deliberation of a General Assembly that took place in December 2009, which promoted the statutory change of Fundação Universidade do Contestado – University Campus Caçador – UnC Caçador, which, in its turn had already resulted from the statutory change of Fundação Educacional do Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe (FEARPE), the latter constituted and organized by the civilian society in General assembly on July 31st 1971. UNIARP is maintained by the Fundação Universitária Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe (FUNIARP), public entity under private law, philanthropic and nonprofit foundation, owning administrative, assets, financial-economical and didactic-disciplinary autonomy.

The change of FEARPE into Fundação Universidade Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe (FUNIARPE), which has its headquarters at Rua Victor Baptista Adami, 800, in the city of Caçador, state of Santa Catarina, took place in 2009, to consolidate the UNIVERSIDADE ALTO VALE DO RIO DO PEIXE – UNIARP, with its headquarters at Rua Acadêmicos Victor Baptista Adami, also in the city Caçador, state of do curso de Santa Catarina. Undergraduates of the Course of The institution, together with Colégio de Aplicação, Environmental operates on Basic Education, Undergraduation, Engineering Post Graduation, Research and Extension. Another important differential is in the infrastructure available to its students and undergraduates, through technicalscientific labs, for the performance of practical classes, an essential factor to promote technology-based companies.

Caçador has a complete University, with state - of - the - art professors, structure, labs, equipment as well as a Social Assistance policy that grants scholarships and helps out the community through social projects. Its community Projeto Social de Xadrez action today reaches out to more than five thousand people through the various social Social Project – projects that are being carried out.

Referência em Educação Superior A Universidade Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe (UNIARP), com unidades em Caçador e em Fraiburgo, foi constituída pelo Decreto nº 2.931 de 21 de dezembro de 2009. A Universidade, referência em educação superior oferece anualmente vagas para 19 cursos de Graduação e incentiva o aperfeiçoamento profissional com oferta de cursos de PósGraduação em diversas áreas.

Para atender plenamente as necessidades de acadêmicos e professores, a UNIARP realiza investimentos constantes em estrutura, equipamentos e capacitações. Além disso, mantém convênios com diversas instituições como Sistema FIESC, EPAGRI, FAPESC e outras.

A Biblioteca Universitária Comendador Primo Tedesco é outra referência para a comunidade acadêmica e população em geral.

A Instituição preocupa-se também em oferecer um programa de bolsas de estudo, atendendo à legislação específica das Instituições de Ensino Superior. No segundo semestre de 2009, um total de 895 acadêmicos foram beneficiados com bolsas de estudo de 100% e 50%.

A UNIARP faz Educação Superior com qualidade e seriedade há 37 anos, com todos os seus cursos aprovados pelo Conselho Estadual de Educação (CEE/SC). A UNIARP é uma Universidade que cresce a cada ano, através de parcerias e recursos próprios, trazendo aos seus alunos e comunidade de toda a região educação e atendimento social em suas diferentes áreas de estudo.

Reference in College Education The University Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe (UNIARP), with units in Caçador and Fraiburgo was constituted by decree number 2.391 of December 21st, 2009. The University, reference in College Education, offers annually openings for nineteen Under Graduation courses and stimulates professional enhancement by means of Post Graduation courses in several areas.

To fulfill thoroughly the students’ and professors’ needs, UNIARP invests constantly in structure, equipment and training. Furthermore, it maintains agreements with institutions such as FIESC System, EPAGRI, FAPESP and others.

The University Library Commendatore Primo Tedesco is another reference to the academic community and the general population.

The Institution is also concerned about offering a program of scholarships, given the specific legislation of Institutions of Higher Education. In the second half of 2009, a total of 895 students benefited from scholarships from 100% to 50%.

UNIARP has offered higher education with quality and reliability for 37 years, with all its courses approved by the State Board of Education (CEE / SC).

Os alicerces da Cidadania

Gilberto Seleme Presidente da UNIARP Gilberto Seleme – President of Uniarp Há mais de três décadas, a Universidade está presente na cidade de Caçador e posteriormente em Fraiburgo, fomentando a criação de conhecimento, formando profissionais capacitados para o mercado e oferecendo uma oportunidade de futuro para nossos filhos e netos. Nesta nova etapa da Educação Superior em Caçador e em Fraiburgo, a missão acadêmica continua firme, aliada ao desafio de aumentar cada vez mais a integração comunitária para um desenvolvimento social pleno.

Provas deste maior engajamento comunitário estão nos números do Balanço Contábil. Em 2009 foram investidos mais de R$8 milhões em Assistência Social através de bolsas de estudo integrais (100%) e parciais (50%) e também nos Projetos Sociais que atuam na promoção da saúde, educação, conscientização ambiental, esportes e geração de emprego e renda.

Por estar inserida na região que detém um dos menores Índices de Desenvolvimento Humano (IDH) a UNIARP avança dentro e fora das salas de aulas para gerar conhecimentos e resultados para a sociedade se desenvolver econômica e socialmente. Além das ações sociais, a UNIARP pretende envolver a pesquisa nesta nova etapa.

A Universidade deve gerar pesquisas que contribuam para o desenvolvimento da atividade econômica e do meio social, com o objetivo de melhorar a qualidade de vida de toda a região. A Universidade deve apresentar resultados que sirvam para munir governos, empresas e instituições de dados para subsidiar ações reais de transformação.

The Citizenship Foundations For over three decades, the University has been present in Caçador and Fraiburgo (the latter being founded a little after the former), promoting knowledge, forming professionals enabled to act in the job market and offering an opportunity of future to our children and grandchildren. In this new phase of Education in Caçador and Fraiburgo, the academic mission keeps going steadily, allied to the challenge of increasing more and more the integration with the community for a full social development.

Proofs of this greater community engagement are in the Balance Sheet Accounting numbers. In 2009 more than R$ 8 million were invested in Social Work through full (100%) and part (50%) scholarships and also in the Social Projects that act in health promotion, education, environmental awareness, sports and creation of job and income.

Because it is inserted in the region which holds one of the lowest Human Development Rates (HDR), UNIARP moves forward in and out of the classrooms to promote knowledge and results for the society to develop itself economically and socially. Besides the social actions, UNIARP intends to involve research in this new phase.

The University must create researches that contribute to the development of the economic activity and social environment, with the goal of improving the life quality of the entire region.The University must present results that serve to give the government, companies and institutions, data to support real changing actions.

UNIARP – Providing Services to Social Development The man is a social being and his need of organization is based on the human ability of knowing and constructing the comprehension of the means and the fundamental processes for the organization and facilitation of the act of living. Knowledge is a product of the thought’s conscious activity that determines the human being’s social nature and conditions him to his history and culture. But the man doesn’t come ready for the life in society.

It’s necessary that he be taught to learn how to live in society. Because of that, the different social institutions in the societies were established, whose main function is to control some sections of the individual’s behavior, through the transmission of cultural and behavioral patterns.

One of the most important social institutions that interact directly with the society, affecting and allowing to be affected, is the educational institution.

Through this institution, the man learns how to live in society, absorbing the culture, the behavioral patterns, the produced knowledge, etc.The education also exercises the human behavior social control. The deep interactivity that there is between education and society is thus, made evident.

The educational process must play the role of social transformer, mediating the social changes, preparing the man to apply knowledge through the exercise of the transformational practical activity.

Therefore, UNIARP, as infers its Social Balance, enforces its role of social development promoter.

O conhecimento é um produto da atividade consciente do pensamento que determina a natureza social do ser humano e o condiciona a sua historia e a sua cultura. Mas o homem não nasce pronto para a convivência em sociedade. É necessário que ele seja educado para aprender a conviver socialmente. Para tanto, foram criadas as diferentes instituições sociais dentro das sociedades, cuja função principal está em controlar certos setores do comportamento dos indivíduos, através da transmissão de padrões de comportamento e da cultura.

Uma das instituições sociais mais importantes que interage diretamente com a sociedade, influenciando e se deixando influenciar, é a instituição educacional.

Através dela, o homem aprende a conviver socialmente, assimilando a cultura, os padrões de comportamento, o conhecimento produzido, etc. A educação também exerce o controle social do comportamento humano. Evidencia-se, com isso, a profunda interatividade que há entre educação e sociedade.

O processo educativo deve exercer o papel social transformador, mediando as transformações sociais, preparando o homem para a aplicação do conhecimento por meio do exercício da atividade pratica transformadora.

Destarte, a Uniarp, como se depreende de seu Balanço Social, cumpre seu papel de promotora do desenvolvimento social.

Educação Infantil, Ensino Fundamental e Médio O Colégio de Aplicação está sempre pronto para receber seus alunos e isso começa desde os três meses de vida, com o Berçário e segue até o Terceirão, com início de seu crescimento profissional. Entre Educação Infantil, Ensino Fundamental (1ª à 8ª série) e Ensino Médio (1ª à 3ª série) foram matriculados 493 alunos, em 2009. Estrutura para ensinar e atender a Comunidade Acadêmicos, professores e população estão cada vez mais próximos através das clínicas e núcleos de atendimentos da Universidade Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe. Em 2009 foram realizados cerca de 70 mil atendimentos entre as clínicas de Psicologia e Fisioterapia e o Núcleo de Práticas Jurídicas.

Além de um local de aprendizado, os diversos locais de estágios dos cursos da UNIARP garantem atendimento de qualidade à comunidade e a custo zero. É uma troca vantajosa para todos. Ganha a comunidade acadêmica e ganha a sociedade com atendimentos e na sequência, com profissionais preparados para desenvolver seu trabalho.

Structure to teach and assist the community University students, professors and population are closer and closer through UNIARP’s clinics and treatment centers. In 2009, about 70 thousand treatments were performed in the Psychology and Physiotherapy clinics and in the Legal Practices Center. The varied internship places of UNIARP’s courses guarantee free quality treatment to the community as well as a learning opportunity for academics. It’s an advantageous exchange for everybody. The university community wins and the society wins with treatments and therefore, with prepared professionals to develop their work.

Núcleo de Práticas Jurídicas O Núcleo de Práticas Jurídicas da UNIARP é um ambiente de aprendizado prático, um escritório de advocacia modelo onde os acadêmicos/estagiários do curso de Direito mantém contato direto com a população, mediante supervisão e orientação de professores advogados. Hoje, os profissionais que atuam no Núcleo monitoram cerca de 800 processos judiciais. O NPJ tem grande importância, seja para a formação do profissional de Direito, seja para toda a comunidade caçadorense. Hoje os acadêmicos/estagiários desenvolvem suas atividades no Núcleo e recebem conhecimentos para desenvolver formas judiciais e extrajudiciais de prevenção e solução de conflitos individuais e coletivos. No primeiro semestre de 2009 participaram das ações do NPJ 93 acadêmicos/estagiários. No segundo semestre, participaram 107 acadêmicos/estagiários. A metodologia de trabalho utilizada para o desenvolvimento das atividades manteve-se em conformidade com a proposta já estruturada pelos professores em anos anteriores. Os períodos (dias) de estágios foram divididos em duas partes, sendo a primeira (as duas primeiras horas) com as aulas de prática teórica nas áreas cível, penal, trabalhista e previdenciária.

Legal Practices Center The Legal Practices Center of UNIARP is a practical learning environment - a standard law office where the Law university students/trainees keep in direct touch with the population, under the supervision and orientation of lawyers/professors. Nowadays, the professionals who act in the center monitor about 800 lawsuits. The LPC has great importance for the law professional’s education as well as for the whole community of Caçador. Presently, the university students/trainees develop their activities in the Center and acquire knowledge to develop judicial and extrajudicial forms of prevention and solution of individual and collective conflicts. In the first semester of 2009, 93 university students/trainees participated of LPC actions. In the second semester, 107 university students/trainees participated. The work methodology used for the development of the activities was in accordance with the proposal that was structured by the professors in the previous years. The terms (days) of work experiences were divided into two parts, the first one (the first two hours) with theoretical practical classes in the civil, criminal, labor and pension fields.

Clínica Escola de Fisioterapia A Clínica Escola do Curso de Fisioterapia é destinada ao atendimento fisioterapêutico de pessoas da comunidade, também para a prática profissional e realização de estágios curriculares obrigatórios para a formação dos acadêmicos do curso de Fisioterapia da UNIARP. Na Clínica são realizadas aulas práticas e atendimentos para a comunidade através do Projeto Social e dos estágios obrigatórios. Em 2009 foram realizados cerca de 15 mil atendimentos em estágios curriculares. Os estágios são divididos em três áreas: Comunitária, Clínica e Hospitalar, além de estágios na área de Dermatofuncional.

Detalhes dos atendimentos: . Estágios Curriculares na Clínica Escola: 468 pacientes atendidos por mês; . APAE: média de 12 pacientes atendidos por semana; . Hospital Maicé: média de 18 pacientes atendidos por semana.

Physiotherapy School Clinic The Physiotherapy Course School Clinic is destined to physiotherapy treatment of community people and also to the professional practice and performance of mandatory internship for the education of UNIARP Physiotherapy University students.

In the clinic practical classes and treatments for the community are performed through the Social Project and internship. In 2009, about 15 thousand treatments were performed by the interns.These are divided into three fields: community, clinic and hospital. Internship in the field of Dermatofunctional was also performed.

Núcleo de Psicologia O Núcleo de Psicologia, órgão vinculado ao Curso de Psicologia da UNIARP, tem como meta planejar, desenvolver e acompanhar todas as atividades de estágio realizadas nas áreas de Ensino, Pesquisa e Extensão, ligadas ao curso. Em 2009, participaram das atividades do Núcleo 41 estagiários e sete professores supervisores de estágios, no total.

Foram realizados 918 atendimentos de estágio prático supervisionado I e II de Psicologia clínica. No estágio prático supervisionado I e II de Psicologia escolar foram realizados 72.078 atendimentos e no estágio prático supervisionado I e II de Psicologia organizacional foram realizados 3.107 atendimentos. No total geral, foram realizados 76.103 atendimentos entre as três áreas de estágios.

Psychology Center The Psychology Center, linked to the Psychology Course of UNIARP, has the goal of planning, developing and following all the internship activities performed in the field of Teaching, Research and Extension, linked to the Course. In 2009, 41 trainees and 7 internship supervisors participated of the activities in the Center.

Nine hundred and eighteen assistances on Supervised Internship I and II of Clinical Psychology were performed.

On the Supervised Internship I and II of School Psychology, 72.078 assistances were performed. 3.107 assistances were performed on the Supervised Internship I and II of Organizational Psychology, performing an overall of 76.103 assistances.

Museu do Contestado O Museu Histórico e Antropológico da Região do Contestado contabilizou em 2009 em seu acervo um total de 7.999 peças tanto em sua reserva técnica, quando em exposição permanente. O tema trabalhado em 2009 foi “Contestando o Contestado”, escolhida por votação interna entre as colaboradoras do Museu. Ao longo do ano foram firmadas parcerias com diversas instituições locais e regionais, com ênfase no sucesso das exposições. Foram desenvolvidas atividades educativas com escolas e visitantes em geral através do Projeto Permanente de Extensão e Assistência Social “Inclusão: Vamos Sentir o Museu?” Durante o ano também foram priorizadas ações envolvendo toda a comunidade, através de trabalhos voluntários e a inclusão dentro do espaço museal.

Programa de Voluntariado Acadêmicos dos diversos cursos da Universidade Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe (UNIARP) motivados pela Bolsa Artigo 170 realizaram trabalhos voluntários no Museu. Em 2009, o Museu recebeu 33 acadêmicos, que realizaram 862 horas de serviço voluntário.

Um Natal Para Todos Nos meses de outubro, novembro e dezembro, o Museu do Contestado lançou a campanha “Um natal para todos” onde foram coletados brinquedos e agasalhos e destinados a Casa Lar - ACEIAS de Caçador/SC.

Contestado Museum The Historical and Anthropological Museum of the Contestado Region registered in its asset, in 2009, a total of 7.999 pieces both in its technical assets and in its permanent exhibition. The theme worked in 2009 was “Contesting the Contestado”, chosen by internal vote among the contributors of the Museum. Along the year partnerships were established with several local and regional institutions, with emphasis on the success of the exhibitions. Educational activities were developed with schools and visitors in general through the Permanent Project of Extension and Social Work “Inclusion: Let’s Feel the Museum?” During the year actions also were prioritized involving all the community, through volunteer work and the inclusion within the museum space.

Volunteering Program Academics from several courses of the Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe University – UNIARP motivated by the Scholarship Article 170 performed volunteer work in the Museum. In 2009, the museum received 33 academics that performed a total of 862 hours of volunteer work.

A Christmas For All In the months of October, November and December, the Contestado Museum launched the campaign “A Christmas for All” when toys and clothes were collected and destined for Casa Lar – Aceias de Caçador/ SC.

Biblioteca Universitária A Biblioteca Universitária Comendador Primo Tedesco foi fundada em 1972 funcionando, inicialmente, em uma das salas do Colégio Nossa Senhora Aparecida. Em 1975, a Biblioteca foi transferida para o prédio da FEARPE. Passados mais de 30 anos da doação do primeiro acervo, a Biblioteca Universitária hoje é referência para comunidade acadêmica e população em geral.

Possui em seu acervo 36.550 títulos e 79.198 volumes. A Biblioteca funciona nos três períodos: matutino, vespertino e noturno e ainda aos sábados.

University Library The University Library Commendatore Primo Tedesco was founded in 1972, established initially, in one of the classrooms of Nossa Senhora Aparecida School. In 1975, the Library was transferred for the FEARPE building. After 30 years since the donation of the first books, the University Library is today reference to the academic community and population in general. It has in its asset 36.550 titles and 70.198 volumes. The Library is open throughout the three periods: morning, afternoon and night and even on Saturdays.

Colégio de Aplicação O Colégio de Aplicação foi autorizado a funcionar pelo Decreto nº 4.202 de 26 de dezembro de 1977. Como parte integrante da Universidade Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe (UNIARP), segue suas diretrizes e filosofia de ensino e cumpre seus fins e compromissos sociais oferecendo os seguintes cursos: Educação Infantil (0 a 5 anos); Ensino Fundamental (1º ao 9º ano) e Ensino Médio (1ª série ao Terceirão – Pré-Vestibular). Entre Educação Infantil, Ensino Fundamental e Ensino Médio foram matriculados no Colégio de Aplicação 493 alunos em 2009. Além da qualidade na formação de crianças e jovens, o Colégio de Aplicação é destaque também pelo seu comprometimento social e cultural.

Solidariedade O Colégio de Aplicação através de seus alunos, mais uma vez foi parceiro na Campanha do Agasalho. Em 2009 foram arrecadadas 2.800 peças de roupas e 148 cobertores. Tradicionalmente, a arrecadação feita pelos alunos do Colégio conta muito no balanço geral da Campanha.

Humanitary Aid Aplicação School through its students, once more was a partner in the clothes gathering campaign (a municipal campaign that collects used clothes from the community for donation to the poor). In 2009, 2.800 pieces of clothes and 148 blankets were collected.Traditionally, the collection made by the school students is very important to the Campaign’s general balance.

Aplicação School was authorized to work by the 4.202 Decree of December, 26th , 1977. As an integrant part of Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe University (UNIARP) , it follows its directives and teaching philosophy and accomplishes its goals and social commitments offering the following courses: Kindergarten (0 to 5 years old): Elementary School ( 1st to 9th year) and High School Among Kindergarten, Elementary School and High School, 493 students were admitted to Aplicação School in 2009.

Besides the quality in the formation of children and youngsters, Aplicação School is a school of distinction both by its social and cultural commitment.

Arrecadação de livros Em 2009, 1.834 livros foram arrecadados por alunos do Colégio de Aplicação de Caçador na tarefa de encerramento da tradicional Gincana Estudantil. A campanha do Livro foi realizada em conjunto com o Capítulo Caçador Nº 185 da Ordem DeMolay. Foram arrecadados livros de literatura infantojuvenil , literatura adulta e livros técnicos em bom estado de conservação que foram doados para bibliotecas das

Collection of books In 2009, 1.834 books were collected by students of Aplicação School of Caçador in a task of the Student Gincana.

The Book campaign was performed together with the Capítulo Caçador N. 185 da Ordem DeMolay. Books on literature for children, youngsters and adults as well as technical books in good state of conservation were collected and donated to libraries of Municipal Schools.

O Serpentário da UNIARP é parceiro de um dos maiores centros mundiais de pesquisa e produção de vacinas contra animais peçonhentos, o Instituto Butantan de São Paulo.Ao mesmo tempo em que investe em pesquisa para a produção de soro antiofídico, o Serpentário também preza pela educação ambiental, com participações em feiras e demais eventos. Passaram pelo Serpentário, localizado na Estação Experimental da Epagri, alunos de escolas de Caçador, Lebon Régis, Rio das Antas e Calmon, além de técnicos e representantes de instituições que conheceram mais sobre os 800 animais de sete espécies peçonhentas.

O Serpentário também é utilizado por acadêmicos e professores dos cursos de Ciências Biológicas e Engenharia Ambiental. No mesmo espaço do Serpentário, funciona o Biotério com animais utilizados em experimentos científicos. O espaço é utilizado por acadêmicos e professores dos cursos de Psicologia, Farmácia, Enfermagem e Fisioterapia.

Serpentário and Vivarium UNIARP’S serpentário* is partner in one of the biggest world centers of research and vaccine production against venomous animals, the Butantan Institute of São Paulo. At the same time it invests in research on the production of anti snakebite serum, the serpentário also values the environmental education, with participations in fairs and other events. Students from schools of Caçador, Lebon Régis, Rio das Antas and Calmon, as well as technicians and representatives of institutions visited the serpentário and knew more about the 800 animals of seven venomous species.

The serpentário is also used by academics, teachers and professors of Biological Sciences and Environmental Engineering courses. In the same area of the serpentário there is the “vivarium”, a space with animals that are used in scientific experiments. The space is used by academics and professors of Psychology, Pharmacy, Nursing and Physiotherapy courses. * (the facilities used for the taming of snakes with the purpose of producing anti snakebite serum)

Núcleo de Tecnologia da Informação O Núcleo de Tecnologia da Informação (NTI) atua na gestão da infraestrutura de software e hardware da UNIARP, com o planejamento e execução da política de informática. O Núcleo executa projetos em Tecnologia da Informação, oferecendo um ambiente de desenvolvimento e pesquisas de novas tecnologias e serviços de informática para toda a comunidade acadêmica. Em 2009, a UNIARP, através do NTI realizou a etapa final da implantação de um moderno Sistema de Gestão Administrativa e Acadêmica, inaugurando uma nova era de integração e serviços on-line. A ferramenta tecnológica envolveu todos os setores da Instituição, com revisão e mudança de processos e principalmente de cultura, sempre acompanhados de consultoria especializada focada em cada segmento. O processo abrangeu setores da Universidade como o Colégio de Aplicação, Graduação, Pós-Graduação, Extensão e Cultura, mação Biblioteca, Financeiro, Departamento Pessoal, Compras, Contabilidade, Alunos do curso de Sistemas de Infor tems Course Academics of the Information Sys Núcleo de Tecnologia da Informação e Estoque. Information Technology Center The Information Technology Center (ITC) acts on the infrastructure management of UNIARP’s software and hardware, with the planning and execution of informatics policy. The Center carries out projects on Computers Technology, offering the environment for the development and research of new technologies and computer services for all the academic community. In 2009, UNIARP, through the ITC, performed the fi nal implantation stage of a modern Administrative and Academic Management System, opening a new era of integration and online services. The technological tool involved all the sectors of the Institution, with review and change of procedures, always accompanied by specialized consulting focused on each segment. The process reached sectors of the university as Aplicação School, Undergraduation and Post Graduation Departments as well as other departments, such as Extension and Culture, Library, Financial, Personnel, Purchase, Accounting, Information Technology and Stock.

To enable the system, signifi cant investments were performed in the infrastructure as top line stations, high capacity servers, gigabit web, internet links with redundancy and guarantee of band.

Advertising and Media Center The Advertising and Media Center of UNIARP acts as a link between the University and the means of communication throughout the region. Besides daily releases and photographic coverage, the center also produces all the campaigns and event publicizing involving Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe University.

The University has its actions set in the tripod: Teaching, Research and Extension. These three functions are allied in order to produce the new knowledge, through research and spread it through the several ways of teaching and through Extension. Extension is, therefore, in charge of spreading this knowledge to the community, through projects and specific courses in all the areas of knowledge, giving opportunity to the diffusion of knowledge and its application for the development and enhancement of life quality.

Coordenadoria de Extensão e Cultura A Coordenadoria de Extensão e Cultura da UNIARP é responsável pela elaboração e gerenciamento das ações de extensão e cultura, englobando programas e bolsas de extensão, programação e administração do espaço cultural do parque universitário, cursos que contribuem para a formação dos estudantes e da comunidade, entre outras. A UNIARP, através da Coordenadoria de Extensão e Cultura, amplia suas relações comunitárias, implementando ações sociais comprometidas com as reais necessidades da sociedade. Em 2009, entre Projetos Sociais e Programas de Bolsas foram beneficiadas 11.746 pessoas de Caçador e região.

PROGRAMA UNIVERSIDADE NA COMUNIDADE Consiste em uma ação social que divulga à comunidade externa as possibilidades que a Universidade oferece, pois se caracteriza como instrumento de divulgação de cada curso, atraindo novos e possíveis acadêmicos. Além disso, a população regional redimensiona o papel da Universidade como instituição comprometida com o desenvolvimento local.

PROGRAMA DE APOIO À EXTENSÃO E CULTURA – PAEC O Programa de Apoio a Extensão e Cultura tem como prioridades: difusão do conhecimento produzido no ensino e na pesquisa; apoio aos projetos de pesquisa; produção e difusão cultural, esportiva, educativa e artística; planejamento, execução e avaliação de eventos com os cursos de graduação; prestação de serviços para Organizações Governamentais e Não Governamentais; desenvolvimento de programas de educação, meio ambiente, saúde, movimentos sociais, geração de emprego e renda e cultura; projetos em parceria com órgãos de fomento governamentais e não governamentais para melhoria da qualidade de vida, da cidadania ativa e participativa dos sujeitos e qualificação dos serviços de atendimento das necessidades tecnológicas da região em suas diferentes modalidades.

PROGRAMA DE INCLUSÃO DIGITAL - PID Esse é um programa voltado para inclusão digital que visa a capacitação de pessoas de todas as idades. Funciona nos laboratórios da universidade, tem o formato em três módulos e a duração de 40 horas cada módulo.

No ano de 2009 foram atendidos em torno de 50 participantes.

PROGRAMA UNIVERSIDADE ABERTA DA MAIOR IDADE – UAMI O Programa Universidade Aberta da Maior Idade teve seu início na Universidade no ano de 2003. As primeiras turmas contaram com mais de 200 alunos, a partir de 40 anos de idade. O curso é desenvolvido todas as terças-feiras à tarde, onde são oferecidos cursos na área de autoconhecimento, saúde, comunicação, filosofia, comportamento, etiqueta, com o objetivo de desenvolver a intelectualidade, a sensibilidade e a espiritualidade dos participantes. Em 2009, a UAMI contou com 101 participantes.

PROGRAMA BOLSA DO ARTIGO 170 No programa de Bolsa do Art. 170 participam acadêmicos dos cursos de graduação da UNIARP em Caçador e em Fraiburgo. Os acadêmicos beneficiados são incluídos nos projetos para prestação de Serviço voluntário do Art. 170, conforme quadro posterior ao Programa de Prestação de Ação Social.

PROGRAMA DE AÇÃO SOCIAL Neste programa são desenvolvidos projetos de Extensão Universitária e Assistência Social, que abrangem todos os cursos de graduação da Universidade de Caçador e Núcleo de Fraiburgo.

Extension and Culture Coordination UNIARP’s Extension and Culture Coordination is responsible for the elaboration and management of the extension and culture actions comprising programs and extension scholarships, programming and administration of the cultural space of the University Park, courses that contribute for the formation of the students and the community, among others. UNIARP, through Extension and Culture Coordination, enlarges its community relationships, implementing social actions that are committed with the society real needs.

In 2009, among Social Projects and Scholarship Programs 11.746 people from Caçador and region were benefited.

UNIVERSITY IN THE COMMUNITY PROGRAM It consists of a social action that discloses to the external community the possibilities that the University offers, once it is characterized as a publicizing instrument of each course, attracting new and possible academics.

Furthermore, the regional population redefines the university role as an institution committed with the local development.

EXTENSION AND CULTURE SUPPORT PROGRAM The Extension and Culture Support Program has as its priorities: diffusion of the knowledge produced in the teaching and in the research; support to the research projects; cultural, sports, educational and artistic production and diffusion; planning, performance and evaluation of events with the graduation courses; services for Governmental and Non-Governmental Organizations; development of educational programs, environment, health, social movements, employment and income generation and culture; projects in partnership with governmental and non-governmental promotion organs for the improvement of life quality, of participative and active citizenship and the assistance qualification services of the region’s technological needs in its different modalities.

DIGITAL INCLUSION PROGRAM (DIP) This is a program directed to the digital inclusion that aims the qualification of people from all ages. It works in the university laboratories; it has the format in three modules and the duration of 40 hours each module.

In the year 2009 around 50 participants were assisted.

OPEN UNIVERSITY PROGRAM FOR SENIORS (OUPS) The Open University Program for Seniors had its beginning in the University in 2003. The first groups counted with more than 200 students, from 40 years old on. The course is developed all Tuesday afternoons, where courses in the self-knowledge area, health, communication, philosophy, behavior and etiquette are offered with the objective of developing the intellectuality, the sensitivity and the spirituality of the participants. In 2009, OUPS counted with 101 participants.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM OF ARTICLE 170 The Scholarship Program of Art. 170 had the participation of academics of UNIARP’s graduation courses in Caçador and in Fraiburgo. The academics that are benefited are included in the volunteer work projects of the 170 Article, according to posterior board of the Program to Provide Social Action.

SOCIAL ACTION PROGRAM In this program, projects of University Extension and Social Assistance are developed, comprising all the graduation courses of Caçador University and Fraiburgo Center.

Projeto Rondon A equipe da Universidade participou em janeiro de 2009 da Operação Centro -Norte do Projeto Rondon, atuando no município de Flores de Goiás-GO. O grupo, composto por professores e acadêmicos, desenvolveu ações de extensão associadas à comunicação, meio ambiente, tecnologia e produção e trabalho,respondendo aos anseios da comunidade local. Entre um trabalho e outro, professores e acadêmicos aproximaram-se da realidade do interior goiano, conhecendo costumes, crenças e desafios.

Rondon Project In January, 2009, a University’s team participated in the Center-North Operation of Rondon Project, acting in Flores de Goiás-GO. The group, formed by teachers and academics, developed extension actions associated to communication, environment, technology and production and work, responding to the wishes of the local community. In between tasks, teachers and academics got close to the “goiano” reality, getting to know costumes, beliefs and challenges.

In July, UNIARP participated in a new mission of Rondon Project, in Nova Palma, in Rio Grande do Sul.

Serviço de Apoio ao Estudante- SAE A Universidade está sempre em busca de alternativas para viabilizar, não só o acesso, mas principalmente, a permanência do aluno que vem até ela, oferecendo serviços de apoio, com atendimento adequado ao perfil e a necessidade dos seus usuários. Entre estas ações destaca-se o Serviço de Apoio ao Estudante (SAE), que tem por objetivo dar atendimento ao acadêmico, oferecendo serviços de informação e orientação, possibilitando-lhe continuar seus estudos. O SAE orienta aos acadêmicos em solicitações de bolsas de estudo, encaminha para estágios remunerados, auxilia a encontrar moradia e proporciona informações para preenchimento de requerimentos e elaboração de projetos.

Student Support Service- SSS The University is constantly searching for alternatives to make feasible, not only the access, but mainly the permanence of the student who comes to it, offering support services that fulfill the users’ needs and profile. O governo repassa os recursos para as Universidades não públicas, ficando sob responsabilidade destas a organização e divulgação do processo seletivo para o artigo 170.

A UNIARP acredita que este investimento resultará em futuros profissionais capacitados para o desenvolvimento social e econômico da região. A concessão de bolsas de estudos representa para muitos a grande chance de crescimento profissional.

Extension and Culture Social Work Scholarship In 2009, 895 university students were benefited with full and part time scholarships. The number of these reaffirms the commitment of Uniarp with the community, because it makes possible the accomplishment of graduation of people with lack of resources.

Uniarp believes that this investment will result in future qualified professionals for the social and economical development of the region. The granting of scholarships represents for many, the great chance of professional growth.

Research Support Fund (RSF) Scholarship

O Fundo de Apoio a Pesquisa – FAP, em 2009, aprovou e encaminhou para serem desenvolvidas 35 projetos de pesquisas pelos acadêmicos e professores orientadores oriundos das áreas da Ciências da Saúde, Ciências Exatas e da Terra, Ciências Biológicas, Ciências Jurídicas Sociais e Aplicadas e Ciências Humanas. Os relatórios finais estão disponíveis na Biblioteca para consultas.

The Research Support Fund – RSF, in 2009, approved and directed 35 research projects to be developed by university students and teacher advisors in the fields of Health Science, Social and Applied Law Science and Human Science. The final papers are available in the library for consultation.

Extension and Culture Support Program (ECSP) Scholarship

O Programa de Apoio à Extensão e Cultura (PAEC) possibilita bolsa de estudos aos acadêmicos, mediante a apresentação por parte do acadêmico e de um professor orientador de projeto de Extensão a ser examinado e aprovado pelo Colegiado de Curso e pela Comissão Local.

O projeto deve estar de acordo com as diretrizes da Universidade, com caráter educativo, científico, tecnológico e cultural, buscando a solução de questões emergentes da sociedade. No 1º semestre, foram beneficiados 14 acadêmicos com bolsa do PAEC; No 2º semestre, foram 24. beneficiados.

The Extension and Culture Support Program (ECSP) provides scholarships to university students, through the presentation, by the student and a teacher advisor, of an Extension Project to be examined and approved by the Collegiate Course and by the Local Commission. The project must be in agreement with the University’s guideline and must have educational, scientific, technological and cultural nature, searching for solutions for the society’s emerging questions. In the 1st semester, 14 university students were benefited with the ECSP scholarship; in the 2nd semester, 24 of them were benefited.

Investimento social é a marca da UNIARP A Universidade Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe (UNIARP) está inserida na região que detém um dos menores Índices de Desenvolvimento Humano (IDH) do Estado. Ciente disso, sua política de Assistência Social vem se fortalecendo ano a ano. O engajamento comunitário da UNIARP está presente dentro e fora da sala de aula. Social investment is UNIARP’s trademark The University of Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe (UNIARP) is included in the region which holds one of the lowest Human Development Rates (HDR) of the State. Aware of that, its Social Work policy has been strengthened year by year. The community engagement of UNIARP is present in and out of the classroom. In 2009, 895 students were benefited with scholarships consisting of 100% and 50% off the tuition. Twenty social projects were also developed, besides the extension events, offered at a lower cost than that of the market, aiming the qualification of the society in different fields.

Projeto Insight: Percepção

Project “Insight”: Perception

O projeto “Insight” tem como objetivo trabalhar com crianças e adolescentes que apresentam problemas ou dificuldades de aprendizagem e que de alguma forma se sentiam excluídos do meio social. Ele estimula o potencial de cada criança e/ou adolescente com objetivo de fazer com que os mesmos percebam o seu grau de importância enquanto ser humano e assim desenvolvam seu potencial cognitivo, afetivo, maturacional e social. São atendidas 60 crianças e adolescentes semanalmente em forma de oficinas.

The project “Insight” has the goal to work with children and teenagers that present learning problems or difficulties that someway made them feel excluded from the society. It stimulates each child’s and/or teenager’s potential with the goal of making them understand their degree of importance as human beings and thus develop their social, affective, cognitive and growth potential. Sixty children and teenagers are assisted weekly in workshops.

O Projeto Permanente de Extensão e Assistência SocialClínica Escola de Fisioterapia da UNIARP para a Comunidade realizou em 2009, 320 atendimentos. O Projeto foi criado para atender a lista de espera dos estágios curriculares e garantir mais um serviço de qualidade para a comunidade caçadorense. Os acadêmicos de Fisioterapia, com a supervisão de professores, realizam atendimentos nas áreas de ortopedia, traumatologia, desportiva e neurologia.

The Permanent Project of Extension and Social Work UNIARP Physiotherapy Clinic School to the Community performed 320 treatments in 2009. The project was created to meet the needs of the waiting list of curricular internships and to guarantee one more quality service to the community of Caçador. The university students of Physiotherapy, with professors’ supervision, performed treatments in the area of orthopedics, traumatic injuries, sporting and neurology.

AANE O programa de Atendimento aos Alunos com Necessidades Especiais visa assegurar o pleno exercício dos direitos individuais e sociais, promovendo política de boa convivência universitária, para favorecer a integração e a formação de cidadãos plenos. Os alunos deficientes físicos, dificientes auditivos, deficientes visuais plenos ou com baixa visão, cadastrados no programa podem solicitar previamente: adaptação de provas, tempo adicional para realização de provas, adaptação de recursos institucionais, material pedagógico e equipamentos, adaptação de recursos físicos, eliminação de barreiras e adequação de ambiente de comunicação, apoio especializado necessário, intérprete de língua de sinais e ledor, conforme necessidades apresentadas. Em 2009, foram atendidas 14 pessoas.

The program “Attending to Students with Special Needs” aims to ensure the full exercise of social and individual rights, promoting a policy of good university relations, to favor the inclusion and construction of full citizens. The disabled people, deaf, blinds or short sighted, registered in the program can request previously: adaptation of tests, additional time to solve tests, adaptation of institutional resources, pedagogical material and equipment, adaptation of physical resources, elimination of barriers and adaptation of communication atmosphere, necessary specialized support, interpreter and reader of sign language, according to the presented needs.

Em atividade desde 2003, o Programa de Inclusão Digital (PID), com objetivo de qualificação profissional e maior domínio das tecnologias em informática, contribui nas atividades pessoais e profissionais, envolvendo acadêmicos, profissionais e comunidade em geral. Em 2009 o programa qualificou 200 pessoas. Este programa atende, ainda, de modo especial ações voltadas a grupos de terceira idade de Caçador e junto a Associação Caçadorense de Educação Infantil e Assistência Social (ACEIAS).

In the Casa Lar, rooms were organized and equipped to the treatments aiming to offer life quality to the people that are assisted.

The Social Project Physiotherapy UNIARP in the Community aims to promote general welfare to elderly people of 1Casa Lar São José of Caçador and also to other people of the community. Through physiotherapy activities, the project offers better life quality to the 35 people that are assisted.

Physical Activity and Life Quality

O projeto oportuniza condições para cidadãos em geral realizarem atividades físicas, conquistando, melhorando e resgatando cidadania e qualidade de vida na perspectiva da prevenção. O projeto é desenvolvido de segunda à sexta-feira nos centros comunitários, abrangendo 250 pessoas.

The project creates conditions for citizens in general to perform physical activities, achieving, improving and rescuing citizenship and life quality with the perspective of health prevention. The project is developed from Monday to Friday in the community centers, involving 250 people.

Environmental Education in Schools

Educação Ambiental nas Escolas Com a intenção de formar cidadãos com consciência ambiental, a UNIARP desenvolve um projeto que leva a Educação Ambiental para as escolas, através de palestras para alunos de 1ª a 4ª série. Em 2009, cerca de 2 mil alunos de escolas públicas foram atendidos com o projeto, alunos que serão multiplicadores da conscientização ambiental, contribuindo para a melhoria da qualidade de vida da família e da comunidade em geral. Em 2009 houve também a efetivação de parceria com o SESC Caçador.

With the aim of creating citizens with environmental awareness, UNIARP develops a project that takes Environmental Education to schools, through lectures to students from 1st to 4th grade. In 2009, about 2 thousand students from public schools were assisted with the project, students that will be multipliers of the environmental awareness, contributing to the improvement of life quality in their family and community in general. In 2009, there was also the accomplishment of partnership with *SESC Caçador. * Organization that promotes cultural and education assistance, leisure and helth to industry workers.

Law to the Community

O Projeto que tem como público alvo a comunidade de baixa renda, atendeu em 2009, 150 pessoas. Ele atua com orientações e acompanhamento para solução de conflitos judiciais, visando também aproximar a comunidade do conhecimento de seus direitos, buscando a reconstrução do conceito de cidadania, prestando serviço de consultoria, assessoria e assistência assegurando aos que buscam a defesa dos direitos humanos fundamentais.

The project, which has as its target public the lowincome community, assisted 150 people in 2009. It works with orientation and supervision for the solution of legal conflicts, also aiming to lead the community to know about its legal rights, searching the reconstruction of the concept of citizenship, providing consulting service, and assistance, ensuring the defense of fundamental human rights to those who search for it.

The project of social inclusion benefited 2000 students of several schools of the region, with the performance of activities aiming to provide accessibility through the museum space. Groups of students of urban and rural public schools were assisted, as well as blind people.

O projeto que iniciou em 2007 com o objetivo de atender 75 alunos por mês, hoje conta com mais de 800 enxadristas em diversas escolas de Caçador e municípios vizinhos. Em 2009, o projeto realizou um total de 7.690 atendimentos, envolvendo crianças e adolescentes.

UNIARP in Black and White – Chess: from Basics to Competition The project involves a higher and higher number of children and teenagers in the practice of chess, sport that allows important benefits such as better concentration and development of the logical thought. The project that began in 2007 aiming to cover 75 students a month, nowadays has more than 800 chess players in several schools of Caçador and neighborhood. In 2009, the project reached a total of 7.690 assistances, involving children and teenagers.

Citizen Orientation Orientação Cidadã Orientar estudantes no desenvolvimento pleno dos valores humanos na convivência social e no exercício consciente da cidadania é o objetivo principal do projeto Orientação Cidadã.

Ele atua no campo da orientação educacional, vocacional e social dos estudantes secundaristas das escolas públicas da Região do Contestado. Cerca de 1.200 estudantes foram alvo do projeto em 2009, envolvendo escolas públicas de Caçador, Rio das Antas, Calmon, Matos Costa, Lebon Régis, Timbó Grande e Macieira.

Leading students for the full development of human values in social relations and in the conscious exercise of citizenship is the main goal of the project Citizen Orientation. It acts in the area of educational, vocational and social orientation of high school students of public schools in the Region of Constestado2. About 1.200 students were the target of the project in 2009, involving public schools in Caçador, Rio das Antas, Calmon, Matos Costa, Lebon Régis, Timbó Grande and Macieira.3 2 Contestado is the name of the region where the war with the same name took place (1912-1916). It was a conflict because of possession of land between the States of Santa Catarina and Paraná. Caçador was in the middle of the contested area.

Idoso Bem Cuidado O Projeto Idoso Bem Cuidado é destinado a idosos, familiares de idosos em situação de dependência por doenças crônicas ou degenerativas e pessoas que desejam capacitação para serem cuidadores de idosos. O Projeto conta com um grupo de 30 pessoas e vem se firmando cada vez mais, pois há muita demanda por cuidadores.

Well Cared Elderly The project Well Cared Elderly is dedicated to the elderly, family of elderly in situation of dependence by degenerative or chronic diseases or people who wish qualification to take care of elderly people. The project has a group of 30 people and has been more and more consolidated, because there is a great demand for people with this kind of skills.

Futsal4 and Citizenship Futsal e Cidadania Em parceria com a equipe profissional de futsal feminino Kindermann/UNIARP, o projeto beneficiou, em 2009, cerca de 100 crianças e adolescentes. O trabalho não se restringe apenas a parte prática, em quadra, também há espaço para palestras, envolvendo os pais, buscando o fortalecimento dos vínculos familiares e a responsabilidade da família com o adolescente.

In partnership with the female professional futsal team Kindermann/UNIARP5, the project benefited, in 2009, about 100 children and teenagers. The work is not restrict only to the practice, in the court, there is also space for lectures involving the parents, aiming the strengthening of family ties and responsibility of the family with the teenager.

AdoleScER Saudável O Projeto Permanente de Extensão e Assistência Social Adolescer Saudável tem como objetivo levar informações sobre DSTs, AIDS, gravidez indesejada, uso de drogas, capacitando os jovens para o auto-cuidado. Em 2009, foram atendidos alunos das 4ª, 5ª, 6ª e 8ª séries das escolas do município, totalizando 1000 crianças e adolescentes.

Healthy Teenager The Permanent Project of Extension and Social Work “Healthy Teenager” has the goal to take to the teens information about STDs (Sexually Transmited Diseases), AIDS, unwanted pregnancy, use of drugs, enabling the youngsters to take care of themselves.

In 2009, 1000 children and teenagers of 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th grades from municipal schools were assisted.

O Saber Mediante o Fazer O projeto oferece conhecimento para facilitar o ingresso de pessoas no mercado de trabalho ou a gestão de negócio próprio. Voluntários ensinam trabalhos manuais (artesanato) para quem tiver interesse. A UNIARP oferece todo o material necessário e orientação técnica. Além disso, palestras são realizadas por acadêmicos e profissionais das diversas áreas de graduação, entre outras atividades. O Projeto destina-se às mães de famílias, mulheres em geral, público da terceira idade, adolescentes e portadores de deficiências. Em 2009, foram beneficiadas 50 pessoas.

“Knowledge through Performing” The project offers knowledge to facilitate people’s admission in the job market or the management of a business. Volunteers teach handicrafts for those who have interest. UNIARP offers all the necessary material and technical orientation. Besides, lectures are given by university students and professionals from the many areas of under graduation, among other activities. The project is destined to family moms, women in general, elderly people and handicapped. In 2009, 50 people were benefited.

O Projeto foi criado para proporcionar aos alunos matriculados em escolas de Ensino Fundamental dos estabelecimentos municipais e particulares de Caçador, alternativas de entretenimento, lazer e esporte. O projeto atende cerca de 100 alunos por mês, entre meninas e meninos de 10 a 14 anos, com dois professores e aulas no ginásio da UNIARP e outros locais da cidade, em diversos horários.

The project was created to provide alternatives of entertainment, leisure and sport for students enrolled in Basic Education in municipal and private schools in Caçador. The project covers about 100 students a month, both girls and boys from 10 to 14 years old, with two teachers and classes in the gym of UNIARP and other places in town, in several schedules.

SOCIAL BALANCE 2009- University of Alto Vale do Rio do Peixe Projetos Permanentes de Extensão e Assistência Social UNIARP levando Cidadania ao bairro Martello O projeto UNIARP Levando Cidadania ao Bairro Martello, tem por objetivo ampliar o acesso à cidadania das famílias residentes neste território de abrangência. Uma das ações desenvolvidas teve o propósito de ampliar a oferta de informação/ qualificação e instrumentalizar pessoas para serem cuidadores domiciliar de idosos em situação de dependência ou de doenças crônicas, degenerativas e outras. O público alvo do projeto foram mulheres desempregadas de toda a região do Bairro Martello, sendo desencadeado um processo de informação, reflexão de direitos sociais, acesso às políticas públicas e cidadania. O projeto é desenvolvido com apoio do Centro de Referência em Assistência Social (CRAS) do bairro Martello.

UNIARP “Taking Citizenship to Martello6” The project “UNIARP taking Citizenship to Martello”, aims to extend the access to citizenship to families that live in this neighborhood. One of the developed actions had the purpose of extending information/qualification and giving the necessary tools for those who want to take care, at home, of dependent elderly people or those who have chronic, degenerative and other diseases.

Capacitação para Conselheiros Municipais Em Caçador existem 23 Conselhos Municipais que representam as diversas Políticas Sociais Públicas. No entanto, desde sua formação, no final da década de 1980, ainda alguns conselhos não efetivam suas reais funções e missões, desconhecendo leis e estatutos que norteiam as Políticas Públicas, faltando articulação entre as várias políticas sociais existentes. Diante disso, a UNIARP atua na formação de recursos humanos, na instrumentalização teórica, técnica e política dos conselheiros, possibilitando maior participação da sociedade civil no delineamento das políticas sociais públicas em Caçador, entre outras ações. Em 2009 estiveram envolvidas cerca de 200 pessoas (conselheiros e população) nas ações desencadeadas pelo Projeto.

Qualification to Municipal Counselors In Caçador there are 23 Municipal Councils that represent several Public Social Policies. But, since its formation, in the end of the decade of 1980, some councils haven’t performed their real functions and missions, ignoring laws and statutes that guide the Public Policies, showing a lack in the link among the several existent social policies. Thus, UNIARP acts in the formation of human resources, in giving theoretical, practical and political instruments to the counselors, enabling a greater participation of the civil society in the outlining of the public policies in Caçador, among other actions.

In 2009, about 200 people were involved (counselors and population) in the actions brought about by the Project.
