Hi, this is what we do This is the first step for some teenage students in the refugee camp at Thai-Burma border to return something to their school in gratitude with their talents – They design, they weave, they sew, And you buy, you pay, and wear a piece of fabric with an irreplaceable story behind. They are the victims of continuous civil wars, yet they are also the creative souls that deserve to be educated. *Money goes directly to monthly salary for eight teachers in the vocational school in the refugee camp at Thai-Burma border, namely Anglican Language and Computer Centre (ALCC). 這是一群在泰緬邊境難民營的年輕學生第一次站起來 用自己小小的設計回饋母校 – 他們設計、紡紗、裁縫、編織自己的故事， 在你手上的是一件件繡著設計師生命故事的衣服。 是的，它值得你珍惜。 他們或許為文明的戰火犧牲， 但他們的心靈並沒有放棄學習， 因而他們的創意未曾停止閃耀光芒。 *收入用於泰緬邊界難民營中的職業學校八位教師的月薪 – 語言電腦學習中心Anglican Language and Computer Centre (ALCC)

Step 2. You choose the designs you like.
Step 6. Customized clothes hand-sewn

Step 7. Designers write their stories and inspiration, their thank yous.

Their stories, Our story Looking at the local people at the Thai-Burma border, We feel transplanted to another time period, Taking a glimpse at the wisdom of human nature. We marvel at how they sew their traditional clothes without learning any professional fashion design, how they recycle their bottles without recognizing their environmental friendliness, and how they create art without acknowledging the definition of art. One of the arts that struck us most was their creative use of fabrics. Many youngsters in the refugee camps wear their traditional fabrics once a week with a rather modern design. The modern elements like cuttings and zippersare well merged to their traditional costumes. They express their imagination of the modern world in daily lives. They offer their unique aesthetic, a merge of their urge to unveil modernity and their desire to persevere their identities. First Step, this is the first step for one of the high schools in refugee camps along the Thai-Burma border, namely Anglican Language and Computer Centre (ALCC) to raise funds for themselves with the involvement of all students.
