Do you have something that you want to do or a dream that you want to achieve but it seems impossible to achieve? Do not ground yourself because you think you cannot achieve it. Impossible is just the word possible with I’m in front which means it is possible. It is possible to turn the impossible possible by doing the following:

Reading blogs Reading blogs about the things you want to do will enable you to have an idea of what is ahead of you and how to tackle it. There is virtually a blog about anything. Just type the thing you want to do on your computer’s browser and you will find plenty of blogs about that particular thing. Read the blogs out and you will realize that it is possible to achieve your goal.

I also find reading personal development books very powerful as there are always so many tips and actions to assist in promoting the right mindset to reach you goals. The main thing when investing in yourself via personal development or skill building is to action the tasks you learn. For additional tips to help you study you study your craft refer ‘Effective study habits for mature students‘.

Attend webinars Webinars are basically seminars conducted over the internet. These webinars are a great way to learn something new. They are conducted by professionals and are aimed at helping people to learn tips, how to do things and getting knowledge about a particular subject. There are several webinars conducted almost every day.

Both Carsten and I particpate in webinars online on a regular basis. I have found webinars a great way to develop skills and learn more about specific topics of interest. My mentor ‘Stuart’ conducts webinars regulary on ‘Proven steps for running a profitable on line business‘ where he discusses the ‘out of the box digital business’ this webinar is free to attend.

Listening and watching videos YouTube is an invaluable tool when it comes to learning how to do things. There are thousands of videos on YouTube that teach people how to do almost everything; from playing the guitar, to taking great pictures, how to whiten your teeth and so on. All you have to do is to put into action what you have learned.

There was a time I used to be annoyed that the kids were always watching things on YouTube, now I think the tides have turned as I am the one always checking for things on YouTube. One thing I always do if I need to find out how to do something is ‘google it’ or ‘YouTube it’. I also run my own YouTube channel where I am sharing our journey in creating a lifestyle anytime. 1/3

Taking interest in whatever you want to achieve This should actually be the first tip. If you are interested in learning something new you will have the motive to research about that particular thing and have a plan to learn. For example, if you want to learn how to play the guitar, you must have the interest to research on the tutorials and tips on how to play. And in no time you will be playing a tune or your favourite song with ease.

I know I am not the only person to have set a goal and not followed through with it. There has been many times I’ve set a goal and not followed through because the true interest was not there. I was not commited enough to take the deep interest in the topic that I set the goal on. For me the key thing is to work on your interest each day and there has been a few things I’ve wanted to do that really I Carsten walking at Kincumber Mountain just could not fit in or put time into immediately. I’ve found that working on too many things at once causes failure in some or all. I now focus on three banner goals, these currently are personal growth, health and business. In personal growth I am learning meditation, in health I ensure I walk 10,000 steps a day and eat healty and in business, I am learning the skills requried to live a laptop lifestyle.

Practice and putting in time You must practice what you have learned from the videos, from the blogs, and from the webinars. This way you learn new skills, sharpen your talent and get used to doing whatever seemed impossible. They say practice makes perfect and surely you will be perfect and achieve your goals.

Network with people with similar interests When you network with people who share the same interest, you will be able to share ideas, challenge each other and above all encourage one another. This is a great way of making the impossible possible. Just stay focused, be open to learning new ideas and all shall be well.

Networking both online and at networking breakfasts, lunches or events is always amazing. I recently attended an event in Perth WA where I got to network with many people using the same digial skills education platform as I am. It was amazing meeting and sharing tips with like minded people. I also get together with people locally where we help each other or refer to businesses that can help. I’ve found networking a great way to be involved in a like minded community.

Nothing is impossible in this world. Just have interest, be ready and willing to learn, practice what you learn and network with people with similar interest and you will achieve your goals. Have a great day.
