Whether a newbie or a small business owner looking to develop your own online business skills, self-education and online business education is vital for personal and business growth. You already know the benefits of starting a home business online. I have often shared Carsten and my vision of creating a laptop lifestyle so that we can spend more time seeing family, friends and travelling around Australia before we are grey. To do this I decided to start affiliate marketing and learn about digital education. It is the digital education platform that I have become an affiliate marketer for. The skills that I have learnt and are learning are fantastic. You may have a day job which you are starting a business around, children to run around or a business schedule to work around. The advantage of a digital education is you can choose when it will fit into your day. You can choose the pace of your education and study in the comfort of your own home. In my current day job as a community support worker, shift rates and work hours are changing. Some of these changes will impact my life, hence the reason I looked for a way to supplement my income and work for myself online. To be in control of my life and choose how I earn an income, how I live and where I live, I knew I needed to learn digital skills via an online education platform.

Watch the step by step video tutorials at your pace, around the children’s schedule, around errands, unexpected phone calls. I’ve found the networking on the platform and on social media sites to be very helpful in getting started. The saying is ‘ask to receive’, and so many people are happy to share what they have learnt.
Live training and webinars Have you ever attended a live training or webinar? Live training and webinars are great ways to ask questions and learn from the experts. Many live training and webinars ask for someone to take the hot seat. As much as sitting in the spotlight may seem daunting, to have your business analysed via this form of digital education is a benefit when starting your business. As experts in the field can guide and mentor you through changes at business startup. It is great to have a good foundation when starting a business.
Communicate with mentors and business coaches Technology changes so quickly, it is sometimes difficult to keep up.
