An art exhibition showing the works of Kinga Elliott, created as a response to the items in the collection of the Glenesk Folk Museum, where she is currently the artist in residence.

Focusing on manifestations of light, colour, dynamism, balance and interconnectedness, her inspirations are based on everyday objects, natural forms, geometry and mathematical theorems.

Kinga’s works can be found in various collections and have been recently exhibited at the British Art Fair in the Saatchi Gallery.

SWEET SPOT is a large scale photography project taking place across vacant shop units in Arbroath during August – October and includes this specially designed installation which features work produced during workshops with schools and community groups. Sweet Spot is funded by Creative Scotland and produced by Adam Geary, a photographer and publisher based in Angus. Further project details can be found at www.adamgeary.com.

Come along today and visit the original Victorian library, find out how it worked and how it served the people of Edzell. Explore the audio visual presentation featuring the Colonel and his family, the building and opening of the hall and library. Booking not required.

Our BE ACTIVE...live well is an exercise programme aimed at those with a health condition; at the older adult; and/or those who haven’t exercised before and don’t know where to start.
