Tocal Beef Cattle Assesment Course Scholarships Five Scholarships are awarded to give Angus Australia members the opportunity to participate in the annual Beef Cattle Assessment Course held at the Tocal Agricultural College. The Beef Cattle Assessment Course has been widely recognised as the most practical and hands on beef cattle selection course of its kind. The course embraces both newcomers and experienced cattle producers alike. A great deal of time and thought goes into the selection of the overjudges. They must possess the practical and communicative skills necessary to ensure all participants receive maximum benefit, given the varied levels of experience of participants. It utilises both Bos Taurus and Bos Indicus breeds and their crosses over the duration of the course. The Beef Cattle Assessment course is committed to the education of its participants in all aspects of the beef industry. The course is both challenging and fun.

As well as walking away with improved cattle assessing skills, I also met a large variety of like-minded people. I would highly recommend the course to anyone wanting to develop their cattle assessment skills and general cattle knowledge.”
“I really enjoyed the Tocal Cattle Assessment course and gained a range of skills and knowledge that will be instrumental to my decisions going forward as a Angus breeder in the industry.”
