We only had 2 Upward heifer calves this year so parting with this one is difficult. Probably the fanciest offering in our calf entries and one that would make an excellent show prospect for a junior Angus enthusiast -note the influence of Hamilton’s Duralta 14C Echo 32E cow who ruled the ring a few years back. The dam of this calf was purchased out of the Masterpiece Sale as a calf. Her sire Brooking Ransom 228 was purchased for the notorious Beauty 6R, hoping to get some females. This is a dark cherry red heifer that is very fancy in the front end, and is very well muscled with a good hip. Her dam has a beautiful udder and milks well. Lulu 56B is a deep bodied, good haired, square hipped heifer. Her dam Lucy 84U is a heavy milking cow that traces back to the Deer Range Lucy cow family. Her sire, Fully Loaded 88X is the most consistent bull I have ever used. This year, 14 out of 14 bull calves have the potential to be in the bull pen and 2 heifers will be taken to sales (Red Roundup and Frontline). The rest of the heifers will be kept as replacements. This stylish red heifer is a complete package and is out of Tami-Lynn and Steven’s herd. 3B is very feminine looking, with width she carries through her whole body. I have a big soft spot in my heart for this heifer, sweet from the day she was born. A Mytty in Focus daughter which give you the 73 lb. birth weight. Tiger on the bottom side. I can't say enough about the Tiger calves and here is 730T again and her dam 39E. 39E was a cow we started our herd with, she lasted till she was 14 years. At 14 she was 1,800 lbs., never broke down. I wish I had 20 just like her.

This is a heifer with a little different pedigree, the 4612. I think I was the only one to use him in Canada. 4612 is a 1I2 son and that goes back to 6I6 and the great cow GAR Precision 2536. On the bottom is BT Ultravox, probably one of the best AI sires we used. The 412P goes back to Elban Entense 0245 a bull we bought from Fairview Ranch in Montana. Dig a little deeper and you will see 39E again. All these heifers have 0245 and 39E in the them and all are very quiet.

If calving ease followed by rapid growth is a priority in your program you will want to have a close look at Pride 6A. Blackbird 11A is an own daughter of the great Final Answer. We used him for 6 years for his calving ease and his daughters are proving his real worth as they become some of the top cows in the WWF herd. Upward has done a bang up job of siring high growth, eye appealing cattle for us and his daughters are very productive females. Atalanta 69A is one of my personal favorites. She is a deep and broody Upward daughter that is sure to make a beautiful cow. She was 3rd out of 48 heifers at weaning and 4th out of 40 as a yearling with indexes of 114 and 117. Right Time 78N never ceases to amaze us with his ability to sire exceptional females. It shouldn’t be surprising however with EXT, Right Time, Daquantae and 6807, all outstanding female sires, close up in his pedigree. Bride 71T is a typical Iron Man daughter, feminine and broody with a perfect udder and small teats. Bride 117T is long, deep sided and very attractive. Queen 201A is the youngest heifer in our offering and the only heifer we are offering carrying the service of our new sire, KG Focal Point 2013. A maternal brother was purchased by Aitken Acres Angus. Her sire, Above Standard 78X, was purchased from KBJ as the high selling bull in their 2011 bull sale. Queen is a fancy, broody and feminine heifer with a unique pedigree and a unique service. Focal Point 2013 is a grandson of Mytty In Focus and is owned with KG Ranch at Three Forks Montana. He was the lead off bull in their sale last December when we acquired him for $17,000. He had a BW of 56 lbs. and currently shows EPDs of BW -1.7, WW +62, YW +109, and Milk +24 after 50K update. Bred AI on May 30 to KG Focal Point 2013. Exposed June 15 to July 31 to Isla Bank Bismarck 1302. Examined by ultrasound on September 2 safe to AI service.

He is a son of SAV Bismarck 5682 out of a HF Tiger 5T dam with second dam by TC Freedom 104.
