Here is a heifer that is for sure to make a superb female. Her dam has been nothing but exceptional for us. Ryan Pipke purchased a full brother at $13,500 which we kept an interest in and just weaned his first set of calves, calving ease with that extra bit of growth. A maternal sister to this heifer raised the top heifer calf this fall as well while being one of the nicest cows on the ranch. The dam of 712E is 209Z and her bull calf is sure to be a highlight for the 2019 Bull Sale. You can buy with confidence here. This heifer is very hard to let go of but we are excited for the future for her new owner. AI’d April 20 to Musgrave 316 Stunner. Exposed May 6th to June 1st to FRL Windy 2E. Favourable to AI.

A female that is Shane’s pick of the pen and very hard to part with. These Sitz Logic females are all deep-ribbed, long, broody females with great dispositions. Her grandam is a Bando 9074 daughter, which were noted for being very productive females. An awesome job done by a first-calf heifer. Having HF Tiger in her pedigree, adds to this heifer’s maternal strengths. Once we realized she was safe in calf to SAV Final Answer 035, this made her that much harder to part with. This coupon she is carrying will be a very marketable male or female. Safe to AI service on April 10th, 2018 to SAV Final Answer 035. Due January 18th, 2019.

We bought the Breakout sire for his all-out performance, but the quality of his daughters may be where he is really going to shine. Being an Alana female certainly adds a lot here- 42Y is a never miss female. The service sire is a fancy son off Coleman, one of our top heifer friendly herd sires ever. Cavalry should leave stylish, good footed calves, with super udders on his daughters. Bred to Red U6 Cavalry 28E on May 16th. Ultrasounded safe for Feb. 22nd due date.

When we decided to offer the first bred heifer we have sold in over 20 years we wanted to make sure she was not just another heifer. 21E is as good as any we have raised. She is a big feminine broody power cow in the making. Her full sister 5C is working in our cowherd raising an $8000 bull to Greg Oldhaver in our 2018 bull sale and weaning Scoof 1F, our heaviest bull calf in October. The vet called 21E due early to mid February to Red Lines Scoof 10D. He was our highest selling bull in 2017 to Flying K at $19,500 for half interest; his calves are standouts at both outfits. We are confident that 21E will be a top end cow for Service her new owners. Sire

Shane asked all of us breeders to dig deep into our herd to make this year’s Frontline Sale better than ever. When he wanted 53E we decided she was the one for two reasons: she is a Grand Slam and she’s bred to our new up and coming herd sire New Direction 13E. 53E is a dark red, long bodied, deep sided bred and is laying down a gorgeous udder. She is halter broke and very quiet. Her mother was a Chateau 744 female with a picture perfect udder at 13 years old. 17S has some very productive females in our herd and Scope Angus from Hays, AB. 13E is a New Direction son we raised off one of our foundation cows 18W. He is dark red with tons of hind quarter, BW of 75 lbs. and extremely structurally correct. We showed him last year at Agribition and decided to keep him and use him ourselves. This year he took home Champion Jr. Angus Bull at Prince Albert, Champion Bull at Nipawin Fair and Champion Bull at Shand Fair. He will also be at Agribition this year. Exposed to Red T&S New Direction 13E until July 10, 2018. Observed bred on April 23 which would be January 30 to calve. Vet checked safe to this date.
